I mean he's right.

This country has become a disgrace.

We allow felon rapist insurrectionists into the Oval Office and unelected Nazis into White House administrations.

We elect people who spend their time focusing on harming minorities instead of passing legislation to help average Americans.

We're a complete and total disgrace of a nation.

We had to pull my grandfather from the nursing home (God rest him. Left is at 104)

We had to pull him because he kept telling the younger residents "I killed the Nazis once I can kill you again"

Hell of a man. Side note he's also part of the reason rabies isn't a big thing in America. He was a chemist for the board of health. Helped to deploy a vaccine that could be put into bait for wild animals to eat.

Another side not: my dad was a trump supporter, my grandad was too old to go vote. My dad used his vote to vote democrat on his behalf . Purely out of respect for my mother's dad.

Hell of a man.

What a GOAT’d reason to get pulled from the home.

Man was racking up legacy points til the end. May the champ rest in the peace he earned

America has x.com (x) China has the yuan (y) Russia has their military dictatorship (z)

These are literally the axis of evil.

OP are you the oldest lemmy user or is this taken from somewhere? Genuinely curious, because you just made your account too.

[–] bheo@lemmy.world 64 points 1 day ago (2 children)

I’m turning 43 in June. I think I’m far from the oldest Lemmy user, hahaha.

[–] bheo@lemmy.world 29 points 1 day ago (1 children)

I'm sorry, I use a captcha solver extension...

[–] lena@gregtech.eu 15 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Ooooh, what's it called? I'd love to give it a try

Wait a minute, so is that like a robot... Solving your captchas?

[–] bheo@lemmy.world 31 points 1 day ago

Indeed, a robot solving a test meant to weed out robots. ::)

[–] Buddahriffic@lemmy.world 14 points 1 day ago

Those captcha problems were difficult for automated tools to figure out a decade ago but it's getting close to a decade since some AI image categorizers have gotten better at the task than the average human.

Is this one those stories where people legally get married for the pension fund to not get wasted (widows get half of the pension when the primary beneficiary dies), or some other tax purposes, but not an actual relationship?

Or is this like arranged and y'all just rolled with it?

🤔

I mean, just curious how this huge age gap just... happened?

[–] bheo@lemmy.world 37 points 1 day ago (1 children)

We met on a hike in Yosemite in 2008. He honestly didn’t look 67 at all. We just clicked.

[–] Bumblefumble@lemm.ee 17 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Happy for you, but damn, getting together with a 67 year old person when you're 26 is crazy.

[–] bheo@lemmy.world 19 points 1 day ago

True. Wasn’t exactly how I imagined my life to turn out either.

It's a condemnation of capitalism and all of human society that an idiot like Elon is the wealthiest person on the planet.

The "Love you" at the end really hits home.

[–] bheo@lemmy.world 28 points 1 day ago

It was surprising receiving these texts from him cause he never texts & he had just finished working out at the gym when he saw what Musk was up to, hahaha.

[–] Supervisor194@lemmy.world 12 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Did he vote for Trump? Not trying to be provocative, just curious.
