I actually didn't realize that Israel is about the size of New Jersey... I always assumed it was bigger.

[–] corsicanguppy@lemmy.ca 1 points 14 hours ago

Second time's a charm? Is that what I'm reading?

LOL yeah, like that toddler wants anything but money and attention.

israel is just another honkey settler colonial state

honkeys hate themselves so much, and hate admitting that they hate themselves so much, that they've come up with antisemitism--an arbitrary designation of a group of honkeys as "non-honkey"--and are in the process of trying to convince the entire rest of the world that everything is their fault (instead of every honkey country's)

[–] huf@hexbear.net 5 points 19 hours ago

eh. antisemitism is older than the invention of whiteness, so i dont think this makes any sense.

why doesn’t the saudi military come in and deport them all back to europe and america then? they really should. if you have a birth certificate not from palestine or “israel” you should be deported, then go back to the 1947 borders before the creation of israel

  • Israel is deranged and has the strongest military in the middle east atm, and nukes
  • The US has its navy on every major trade route
  • Europe's biggest members are all still aligned with Israel.

Basically Any nation attempting to jettison Israel would be devastated in multiple fashions, so none of them wants to start a large-scale fight.

[–] geneva_convenience@lemmy.ml 6 points 18 hours ago

On the bright side, almost any nation is capable of destroying Israel because despite its arsenal of American weapons, it is very small.

The Saudi military is a proxy of the us military, given how much of Saudi arms come from the Americans.

[–] Lemmygradwontallowme@hexbear.net 20 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Well, if they did, I suppose Trumpist America would do to Saudi Arabia what they did to Iraq in the Gulf War

[–] sooper_dooper_roofer@hexbear.net 3 points 21 hours ago

why doesn’t the saudi military come in and deport them all back to europe and america then

Because China hasn't taken Taiwan and made up with India yet

[–] PanArab@lemmy.ml 6 points 1 day ago (1 children)

The US would turn the entirety of Saudi Arabia into another Gaza. Sometimes it is wise to know how weak you are.

[–] newerAccountWhoDis@hexbear.net 6 points 23 hours ago (2 children)

The house of Saud is shit. They'd never do anything cool ever, not out of fear but because they're colonizers themselves.

[–] PanArab@lemmy.ml 7 points 18 hours ago

Conquerors not colonizers, they had support from most of the major tribes. While recently they began acknowledging how diverse Saudi Arabia is, for the longest of time they had a policy of Najdification. They still show contempt to some aspects of the local cultures specially traditional Hejazi headdress.

I'm somewhat torn because there's a lot of positives but also some negatives that came from the conquest and unification of the Peninsula. I still prefer this outcome to being five or six different states, even if my ancestors fought for the Kingdom of Hejaz.

Some say they took money from the Brits to take over at the end of the 2nd WW as a end to kalifat.

[–] geneva_convenience@lemmy.ml 7 points 18 hours ago

Saudi fought against the Caliphate alongside the British in order to secure their own land. Originally Palestine was supposed to be included in Saudi's bounty but the British gave it to the Zionists.

That's good, time to learn a bit of history now, and a lot of manners.

Otherwise we'll end up with this future: 2124, US invades Mexico (apparently with no reason but actually after years of conflicts) and Palestinians kick Israelis people away to play a never ending tennis match.

[–] Lussy@hexbear.net 9 points 1 day ago

promptly executive by the house of saud

Aside: WTF is that cover photo? Is Trump dancing? Is it supposed to look like he's trying to throw a punch?

[–] NigelFrobisher@aussie.zone 8 points 1 day ago

It’s the time when Trump danced in a befuddled reverie for twenty minutes at a rally instead of continuing his planned speech. Trump inner-circle members called his performance “electrifying”.

[–] Mucki@feddit.org 2 points 1 day ago

It's a meme dance, nothing to worry about.
