if it was really illegal they wouldve made the sign bigger.

[-] stanka@lemmy.ml 25 points 1 year ago

It's always better to regret something you have done than something you haven't.

By the way, if you see your mother this weekend, tell her "Satan! Satan! Satan!"

"What's the worst that can happen?"

"Watch this shit!"

"One more couldn't hurt."

And the classic, "hold my beer".

[-] NielsBohron@lemmy.world 10 points 1 year ago

And the classic, "hold my beer"

This is the correct answer.

Fuck it, we ball

[-] Globulart@lemmy.world 16 points 1 year ago

For 3 days I've been hovering over the checkout button on £800 of computer parts I can't afford so that I can play starfield properly.

This thread is not good for me.

[-] Thavron@lemmy.ca 10 points 1 year ago

Don't do it dude(tte). Save up for it. The game will still be there in a while, it will have received some bugfixing patches, mods will be developed, and on top of that the parts will probably be cheaper by then.

"it'll probably work out"

[-] NakariLexfortaine@lemm.ee 9 points 1 year ago

"At least I learned who I was".

I can't remember where I first heard that from, but its been my go-to for years. Funnily enough, it's kinda become an almost comforting thought now that I do actually feel like I know who I am.

One I've literally used more than once: "If I die, I'm going to look very stupid"

I'm also fond of: "There's only one way to find out"

[-] bushvin@lemmy.world 9 points 1 year ago
