I'm off theme. I remembered to check the theme after shaving 🫤
This was a shave test for the ERN 207 (honing video). The new synthetic edge performed excellently. The entire shave was improved by richness and slickness of the Elysian Soap Shop's soap base, and by the warmth and elegance of the El Dorado scent.
I watched that video... boy that edge cleaned up nicely!

I don't think I've seen LPL Cologne Fougère called a barbershop scent, but it should be, and I'm declaring this shave on theme. I love this scent, just wish the base wasn't as bubbly.

On theme today with The Master, easily my favorite barbershop that I've tried so far. I love the dark and spicy vibe.
Another superlative shave from the Legacy. It works so well with these blades for me.

Great lather. I only soaked this brush for a minute or two, and that was all it needed. So that's nice. I agree with some others that the loft on Moar Boar could be longer, but I've just resigned to the fact that it's a painter, not a splayer. I still enjoy using it!
I'm almost at 69 uses on this blade according to my spreadsheet. I'll have to remember to swap it back into my Chiseled Face Legacy which is serial # 69.

Damn good shave this morning. Heather sampler is gone and I actually really enjoyed that scent despite people thinking it’s a straight old man scent. Maybe I’m in denial…
I enjoyed Heather for what it was, and still have the toner. I wasn't sad when I killed the tub, though. It's just not in my wheelhouse is all.
Doubtful that I pick a soap or splash of it up, but good enough to enjoy for a few days.
