Aren't Republicans now trying to cut the free Naloxone programs now?

if harris won, they'd be celebrating how many people would get healthcare and such. Instead, trump won and they're celebrating how many people they can kill. The two sides are not the same.

Ah, I remember when this was satire and not simple truth.

They've always been evil-ish, but they didn't used to be straight-up Nazis.

Hell, that improvement probably got wiped out in Trump's first month.

So, this happened under the Biden administration?

Someone please remind me why the orange shitstain keeps blaming stuff on Biden...

The report is in 2025 ergo Trump will claim it. In fact I'm pretty sure I've seen his admin brag about the drop already.

"Since you have been in office, President Trump, your DOJ agencies have seized more than 22 million fentanyl pills, 3,400 kilos of fentanyl … which saved — are you ready for this media — 258 million lives,” Bondi said.

Of course, the people were so excited for the return of king trump that they dialed it back a bit to witness his return. It's the only reason they didn't OD, the only reason.

We're well over a decade into the post-truth era by now. It should come as no surprise that reality has absolutely zero influence on people and their opinions.

Narcissistic personality disorder, mostly.

And this year the number will double!

It’s not really uplifting though because this will immediately reverse

"Good things can't be good because they could be bad"

[–] DarkFuture@lemmy.world 11 points 13 hours ago

Calm before the storm.

Although we probably won't know how bad it gets because our government will probably stop tracking stats so everyone thinks everything is fine.

Mark my words on that one.

Well that’s about to shoot right back up

[–] badbrainstorm@lemmy.world 3 points 13 hours ago

Then he'll be back onto invading Mexico, and war with the Cartels

Also of note, 2024 was the year legalized weed went into effect in Ohio.

Does cause equal corralation? Maybe not. But let's also maybe do a report on where opiotes usage went in 2024 in Ohio.

I think there was another state that legalized in 2024 too.

This was a very short term study at the time, but Colorado saw some 6%, or .7 deaths per month, reduction from time of legalization in 2014 to the end of 2015. Would love to see a longer term study.

[–] Lost_My_Mind@lemmy.world 3 points 9 hours ago

Wait.....so, they had 30 deaths TOTAL in the year 2000?

Damn. I'm fairly sure Ohio in 2015 was in the thousands.

Americans have historicaly had problems buying drugs. It's just a slump (pun intended) in economy. America will be great any day now..

As you can see, Trump is saving the United States.
