Today I learned Christianity isn't some origin story, but about judging people based on their facial expression...

“You fool, I have drawn me as the chad and you as the soyjack, your argument is invalid”

Jesus, King of the Mews.

He spent three days in his tomb, tongue firm against his maxilla palette. He mewed for your sins.

Forgive them father, for they mouth-breathe.

Now go forth, and posture like your savior.

Good Christians busting out the calipers?

I am shocked. Shocked I say.

[–] disguy_ovahea@lemmy.world 20 points 1 month ago

Atheists spend too much time looking down at books instead of down their nose at others.

I not normally for making fun of appearances but that what he's literally doing so,

Dude has his neck fully extended and still has a double chin. Rough

Freedom from something that isn't a thing but the lack of a thing.... So "freedom from nothing"

[–] ryan213@lemmy.ca 10 points 1 month ago

It's the same person... Does that mean they're both Christian and an Atheist?

I thought everyone was God's children ... no matter the bumps on their head

[–] RadicalEagle@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Also you’re not supposed to concern yourself with the speck in your brother’s eye, but the plank in your own.

[–] ininewcrow@lemmy.ca 1 points 1 month ago

plank? ... they have a sheet of plywood on their face and they still believe they can see just fine

[–] TwoBeeSan@lemmy.world 5 points 1 month ago

Hell yeah. Bring back phrenology

Right-hand is any you must believe X person to be fair. All factions got them. Some do more than others.

[–] theUwUhugger@lemmy.world 1 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Do you know of an extremist atheist group?

[–] Gladaed@feddit.org 0 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Atheism subs, gravedigger!

Apparently soviet's used to be. They purged/heavily discouraged religion. For example look at Germans faith depending on region. You find barely an non atheists in the east. They even had a group named militant atheists.

In political satire there is a long standing joke about religious freedom sadly not being about freedom from religion instead of religious freedom. But that isn't extreme and is funny.

You may find them inside of right wing terror attacks or incels terror attacks.

But I believe I talked about radical, not extremist atheists.

[–] theUwUhugger@lemmy.world 1 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Communism is not based on atheism…? Is nazism christian because Hitler was catholic?

[–] Gladaed@feddit.org 1 points 3 days ago (1 children)
[–] theUwUhugger@lemmy.world 1 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Don’t speak german, nor am I capable of comprehending why you would link a link about the soviet part of germanies relationship with the church at the question of ‘by your thouught process is nazi germany christian; are their actions to be atributed to christianity’

[–] Gladaed@feddit.org 1 points 2 days ago (1 children)

I didn't refer to your ridiculous point about Nazis.

[–] theUwUhugger@lemmy.world 1 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago) (1 children)

…you didn’t refer to anything, you just put a link in? Superb!

How is it non-comparable to your ridiculous point? If Stalin was evil because of his religious beliefs which was atheist; then hitler too was evil because of his religious beliefs which was christianity!

Christian god was mentioned in the very first chapter of sieg hail; and his personal unit, the ss wore ‘in god we trust’ on their belts

[–] Gladaed@feddit.org 1 points 2 days ago (1 children)

I never wrote about any person's beliefs but about systems.

[–] theUwUhugger@lemmy.world 1 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Ah yes! The communist atheist system, and the christian nazi belief are non-comparable because that would be counterproductive to your point!

[–] Gladaed@feddit.org 1 points 2 days ago

The issue here being that the Nazis fought against the churches influence. Nazism is not rooted in Christianity. Norse and 'german' mythology was glorified more so than Christianity.

Go ahead and read the complicated history : Kirchenkampf – Wikipedia https://share.google/GRqIfBYprnsMQoGBz

If you are unable or unwilling to read it in German you should use deepl.
