Aktually, that door is lifted directly from Fantastic Four Issue 48 which featured the first appearance of the Silver Surfer entering through that very door. In the comics, it had seven points, but one point was obstructed by a plant in reprints to honor the memory of Jack Kirby's ficus that died because Stan Lee didn't water it when Kirby went on vacation.

I'm surprised you didn't know that. That's like the first thing everyone thinks of when they think "Fantastic Four."
