btw theres this ‘bush years’ miniseries here that is a montage of US TV footage from the 2000s, year by year, no narrator, captures the evolving political and cultural propaganda of the decade, feels a bit surreal to watch it now that I know more about how things work, vs how little I knew back then
the best thing to come out of the 2000s were the skate videos "sorry" and "baker 3"
