Trying to find a job as a frontend JavaScript developer or learning Python to try to find a job as a full stack developer later.

I hate my life.

Edit: Please send help.

Full-stack dev here with 13 years experience (mainly in Vue and Laravel).

Have any questions? I might be able to provide some insight. Good luck out there!

I main React and Typescript. I've been doing front end for about 10 years and I'm certain I can figure out Flask for RESTful API's and Graphql.

My only question is how do I get a human to look at my resume?

Oh man, I haven't applied for a new gig in the last 4.5 years so I'm sure the landscape is so much more different and difficult now.

I do have recruiters reaching out to me fairly often on LinkedIn. Is that an option for you? I know devs can be put off by recruiters. What kind of clients or companies have you written code for? I feel like that really boosts my visibility.

I'm in California and one resource I tap into often are the colleges/university job postings for software developers.

Definitely continue working on BE and creating a portfolio project that showcases your BE and DB skills.

I was a government contractor for 4 years then Trump fucked me. I used to have recruiters call on the regular but now it's a ghost town.

LinkedIn is a racket that I hate that I participate in weekly.

Almost 2 years ago I quit my job and joined a coding bootcamp. After the course was over and I was set free to into the job market, it felt bleak. Sooo many applications, not even a single response from a recruiter or anything.

In my downtime I just focused on coding and working on fun projects to keep my skills fresh & boost my github portfolio. in the end I got 1 interview, they were impressed by a solo project I'd done (it was relevant for the position), and I've been working for them ever since (9 months).

it can feel hopeless at times but don't give up the fight, work on personal projects, add that shit to your resume. you'll eventually get a bite

Patiently waiting for a meeting in which I'm almost certainly going to be laid off.

I hope the severance is a good golden shower and not a bad one.

It's good enough to give me a little buffer, fortunately

Thinking about lunch, it's 12:15pm here. Getting over a cold for the last few days.

Feel better! What are you going to eat ?

Can’t sleep. It’s 2:53am. Yuk.

Technically speaking, working. But given that it takes at least 45 minutes to start on my next step, and there's also inventory prep going on, I'm hiding out of the way for as long as possible.

I'm on a holiday camping road trip.
Just sat on a public unisex toilet.
Some super hot milf used it before me.
The whole toilet still smells of her wonderful perfume/deo/lotion.
Toilet seat still warm.
That's BodyContact-101, bitches!
My first time with a hot milf while on a holiday.
So long virgins!

Edit: PostNut Euphoria.
