Yes, it's more common than you think.

I frequently post in AskLemmy so I think about questions a lot. For example, I was thinking about this in the shower and I was thinking "I really like this handmade soap. It's much better than the usual stuff we get" and then I came up with a related question: "What is something that you would rather buy handmade instead of mass-produced?"

Yeah, that really bugs me when Iook at r/askreddit. The mods only seem to allow seem to allow generic personal questions or questions about sex.

Edit: it looks like three moderation is better now! Although it's still mostly about sex.

As a a Canadian, I just do this naturally as well.

Yeah the instancing makes malicious users much harder to come by, and easy to hide for sure.

Took me a second to understand, but yeah that's a great way to put it

Commenting on a post doesn't feel like yelling into a void, comments are more than a number here. Also people are always trying to be helpful, which is so nice compared to reddit.

I can speedwalk very fast and with good stability. It comes in handy when I need to move fast with a glass of liquid, which doesn't come up a lot.

Not your right hand? I Am do it with either, it just takes a long time

I have many hobbies, but they've all gotten better due to technology. I'll be curious to see what other people have to say.

This is absolutely the coolest, most creative music video I have ever watched.

I was trying to edit my community, and I accidentally pressed the delete button. Is there any way to undo this?

It appears every few times I open the app and the usual android back button doesn't make it go away, and there is no cancel button. What you have to do is toggle the toggle, then the button will change to "do not back up" and then you can press it. It annoys me how easy this makes it to accidentally turn on backup.
