Both are anime
Both center on a pair of students at a prestigious private boarding school
Sapphic attraction and gender variance play central roles in both
Both are anime (I forgot that one)
The ADR scripts for both evidently spelled one of the main character's surnames with ⟨ou⟩ instead of ⟨ō⟩, prompting the dub VAs to pronounce that name with an /u/ instead of an /ow/, which the dub directors may or may not have been behind but certainly didn't try to correct in any case.

I watched both seasons to completion and enjoyed them a lot. The trick is to be detached from reality
