I don’t think their rockets are powerful enough to fuck up a tank though. Just seems like a waste of resources, when you could either target one specific sector of the dome repeatedly, or wait until the invasion, or target the build up of troops.

Hamas isn't going to win a straight fight. They need the rest of the world - especially the Muslim world - to fucking do something for once. Which means they need Israel to stay constantly stirred up and doing stupid insane genocidal shit until popular pressure overwhelms the inertia of governments that would rather not get involved.

also, Iron Dome interceptors are way more expensive than a pipe full of fertilizer - wiki says $70-100k per shot

A counter-insurgency effort by the IDF wouldn't be a straight fight anyway.

Brian Berletic had an interesting assessment on what a ground invasion would look like

the rockets don't do anything anyway, they've launched hundreds/thousands and we've not seen any damage from them yet

don't know about no damage but so little as to be a joke when compared to israel's bombardment

I've seen some damage, but its like a storefront or a house.

remember a post on PalestineResist saying they had used less than 10% of their rockets, I think it was. something like 150k rockets remaining? I'll see if I can find it.
