Rules

AI Art: While we appreciate AI generated art, there are more appropriate communities to post that type of art to. Please keep posts to non-AI generated art only. This rule includes AI art that was then manually manipulated (e.g. drawing on top of something generated by AI).

Nudity: Nudity is and has always been a part of art, but it may be something that some users don't wish to see or cannot view in certain circumstances (e.g. at work). If your work contains nudity, please mark it as NSFW. Work that contains nudity that is not marked as NSFW will be taken down. As long as the NSFW tag is used, we welcome nude subject matter.

Spam: Please do not spam this community. Self promotion is fine if you just want people to be aware of your work, but blatant attempts at spam will result in the past being removed and possibly a ban. If you aren't sure if what you are posting is spam, please contact the moderator first.

Conduct: Be nice, and don't be a jerk. Constructive criticism is OK, but don't be mean. Encouragement is always welcomed.

I love comic sans

"Santa" is already half a name, short for "Santa Claus."

[–] Jesus_666@lemmy.world 4 points 1 day ago

Wouldn't the half-name actually be "Cla"? "Santa Claus" is the anglicised version of "Sinterklaas", a Dutch adaptation of Saint Nicholas.

This is excellent. Reminds me of the irreverent hijinks Ren & Stimpy.

If it's his end shouldn't it be the end of his name "Nta"?

Maybe he was born feet first?

That’s Santa half way to Xmas

(It’s a screenshot from Mickey 17, where a guys body gets reprinted out of this printer from head to feet. Spoiler: there is a scene where someone gets halfway printed and they are the reverse Santa clause from the comic)

Nothing about this movie had piqued my interest until I read your spoiler.

[–] wise_pancake@lemmy.ca 2 points 21 hours ago

It was decently fun but don’t think too hard

[–] grrgyle@slrpnk.net 2 points 1 day ago

Oh I see. It even says Mickey 17 in bottom right. I assumed that was a username.

[–] grrgyle@slrpnk.net 2 points 1 day ago (1 children)

I wondered. Sounds like some good body horror. 🀒

[–] wise_pancake@lemmy.ca 3 points 1 day ago (1 children)

It’s sort of body horror, but the movie isn’t a pure horror.

It’s more of an action comedy suspense with horror elements. Worth a watch and memorable, but not an amazing film.

Thanks, sounds like the kind of mid level movie l like. Good to go in with realistic expectations.
