I love them, they have genuine curiosity and will hang out and watch you. Caught a fairly large one last week that must have been on the door when I opened it.

the two big eyes and compact form defrays a lot of the ick, i still wouldnt let on crawl on me but i don't get the viseral lizard brain freak-out from them.
Had one sit on the tip of my finger for several minutes once while it was spooling out a web line that made it look like it was practicing karate.
Not sure that I have full-blown arachnophobia, but he looks kinda cute. If he kept his distance I could probably tolerate being near 'em.
I think they are cute little fellas and can appreciate them as long as they aren't touching me.
They're really cute, until they jump towards you...
My wife has pretty severe arachnophobia. This picture would absolutely ruin her day. :(
