I think you're looking for the shitty food porn community.

Welcome to LW Cooking, a community for discussing all things related to food and cooking! We want this to be a place for members to feel safe to discuss and share everything they love about the culinary arts. Please feel free to take part and help our community grow!
Taken a nice photo of your creation? We highly encourage sharing with our friends over at !foodporn@lemmy.world.
Posts in this community must be food/cooking related. Recipes for dishes you've made and post picture of are encouraged but are not a requirement. Posts of food you are enjoyed or just think like food are welcomed as well.
Posts can optionally be tagged. We would like the use and number of tags to grow organically. Feel free to use a tag that isn't listed if you think it makes sense to do so. We encourage using tags to help organize and make browsing easier, but you don't have to use them if you don't want to.

is heating a freezer corndog and dumping chips from a bag really cooking?
The other day someone posted a meal. They bought pre-made.
I'm offering this as contrast to the other meals I post here almost every day that are made with considerably more attention. Not every meal has to be perfect or glamorous. And it's not like Lemmy has a surplus of traffic or this group in particular is overflowing with posts.
I totally agree with that. Many meals involve no cooking at all. Its just that I thought this forum was about cooking.
From the side bar "Welcome to LW Cooking, a community for discussing all things related to food and cooking." It's not chefs. It's not fine dining. It's about things related to food and cooking. Fortunately not a lot of posts about people's favorite plates and things are typically more about cooking.
it also says all posts require a tag... however thanks for sharing about the sidebar because it led me to find foodporn and thats more what i'm into. Good to know this is the one for "food memes and shitposts" and such.
Another mod said they were going to remove the tags portion but hasn't done it yet.
"and such" includes recipes, meals etc. The bulk of the content here. But you knew that already.
Fake Doritos? Like tortilla chips?
Off brand tortilla chips that come in the exact same flavors as Doritos but with slightly different flavor names.
Fauxritos.
Those dogs look perfectly cooked. Thanks, now I am craving corndogs.
Freezer corn dogs are perfect for air fryers.
What's your time/temp? I tend to need to microwave them to get the center cooked enough.
370 for 12 minutes
Superb.
*Is that queso from a can?
It's Chick-fil-A sauce. That's my wife's portion.
