Stupid headline makes it sound like he sold his stake @ Β£1bn. The team was valued at 1bn, the shares sold were a minority fraction of shares and Stroll retains both majority ownership and control.

Aston Martin Owner Lawrence Stroll Sells F1 Team Stake at Β£1 Billion Valuation
(www.bloomberg.com)
I think the use of valuation at the end helps salvage the meaning a little. Considering titles are supposed to be as short as possible, this was a good attempt
"Owner sells stake at valuation" can easily be "owner sells partial/minority/percentage of stake at valuation" they know what they were doing.
The title is intentionally misleading instead of being short and accurate
Fuck that headline I thought the Strolls were gone
Apart from Stroll Jr. that wouldn't be benificial for ASMR as a team.
Sold a minority stake-
Nothing to see here, just Papa Stroll liquidating some assets to keep building/fixing cars and doing PR band-aids for Baby Stroll.
