I recall hearing that a lot of modern fruit, at least in the West, is significantly less nutritious than it used to be; if that's true, it's mostly sugar and a bit of fiber (but still better than fruit juice)
That’s definitely true, except bananas. Sorta. They actually tasted better and sweeter, they now taste more bland. Regardless I think it’s part of a nutritious balanced diet and I would recommend Dragonfruit, really good, Kiwis too
I have little problems drinking fruit juice and i will sometimes eat it cooked but eating it raw gives me stomach problems. Obviously if you can you should eat fruit, it's very healthy because they generally have more vitamins than other foods.
Also very important to wash your fruit before consuming it, but if that still messes with your stomach then it isn’t worth it I suppose, too bad, fruit is great
You might be really deficient in fiber, which fruit have a lot of and fruit juice has none of. Getting a good fiber intake after a prolonged period of time of being deficient will be problematic and causes a lot of people to stop before they can overcome that.
I highly doubt that. I eat plenty of grains and vegetables which are higher in fiber than most fruit. My guesses are it's either to do with the fructose content or the high acidity. Cause concentrated fruit juices don't always sit that well with me either, i usually water them down by at least 50%.

I also hate cilantro because I have that gene that makes it taste like soap.

I'm vegan and have been for well more than a year now. I don't see myself backtracking on it. I went vegan obviously for animal rights reasons but there were also other concerns which led to me making the step, such as environmentalism (the animal farming industries being one of the biggest causes of climate change, land usage etc) and even humanitarianism (these industries frequently exploit immigrants and have been caught using child labour, they also have one of the highest PTSD rates of any industry).
Vegetarian. Would go vegan, but it takes a more principled person than myself, at least for now.
I would need to get some Bucket List Meals in me before I could go vegetarian, I would have too much regret otherwise

I'd say about 95% of what I eat is vegan. I started doing it for environmental reasons but after a while it was about animal welfare as well. I used to be a guy who'd say he'd never give up meat but it was so much easier than I thought.
The other 5% is vegetarian btw, no meat/fish/whatever

Vegan because of high cholesterol that is hereditary in my family. It was hard to get used to at first but I've adjusted and also lost a lot of weight in the process.
I tried being vegan, but it is hard when nobody in family is a vegan too, so I stopped, sadly. I also tried, for quite a long, fasting -- I ate nothing one day per week, and this helped me to loose more than 15 kg. Now, I have too much duties but I want to come back to it.
Some forms of non-homogenous food are inedible for me. Like, strawberry yoghurt, or most vegetables.

Basically anything that super processed or refined like sugars, carbs, and especially cooking oils. I feel so much better after cutting that stuff out. I already do low carb due to family history of diabetes but after I read up on how messed up the cooking oil industry is, and how these cooking oils are so extremely refined, I cut those out too. Made a world of difference. I primarily only use cold pressed oil now like coconut, olive, palm, and avacado. When I have carbs it's primarily from fresh vegetables and occasionally fruits. Basically most of what I eat are things that haven't undergone a lot of processing and I make a lot of stuff myself. Like the biggest difference between the diets of old humans vs modern, when you look at the global history of diets, is how precessed the food was. Some cultures ate tons of carbs through farming tubers, some eat almost entirely meat and animal products, and tons of cultures that eat a huge mix of everything in-between, and most all of them were healthier than we are now (from a diet health standpoint).
The one big difference that sticks out is we eat a bunch of shit now that we can't normally get without a ton of crazy processing. Like shit we mine out of a certain rock hundreds of feet below the earth, or something we get through multiple extractions from a plants that then fermented into a sugar substitute after it's then chlorinated. Or shit like cottonseed and rapeseed oil which comes out of an otherwise inedible seed they have to heat at high temps repeatedly while pressing out the oil, then mix and filter with petroleum solvents to create an oil that doesn't smell like rancid dogshit. It's all this processing and crazy shit we do to foods now.

Grapefruit actually interacts with tons of medications, actually.
Also it just tastes like worse oranges so I don't know why anyone eats it lol
