Still better than a 5minute voice memo.
Man I hate those. I have one friend that puts it to the extreme. Their record currently sits at a 20 minute voice memo where the part relevant to the conversation could have been put in about 20 words of text.
My rule for Voice memos is that I only use them if we are both using them. Then it becomes alot of fun.

Typing in a touch screen is one thing, editing text is just plain tedious. If it's close enough just leave it.
What pisses me off is when it's a very obvious typo and the other person responds "what?" Like idk dumbass use your fuckin brain
