Venezuela's economic recovery under a strict regime of US sanctions has been awe-inspiring.

Yeah, after all, this softening of oil sanctions in an environment where the oil revenue is flowing into state coffins it'll be refreshing to see pensions and salaries adjusted beyond the current $5/month.

I wish Venezuela the best of luck, it isn’t easy when you are sanctioned by the US. Hopefully the rise of BRICS+ will give it a chance to recover. The US has abused its sanction power for too long.

The toughest part is done (that being the immediate period after the blockade), it can only get better from now on.
