I like how he's an absolute fucking idiot. That really fits the role in the last few years.

It's ok he's going to scrap LTNs and says women can't have penises. We're lucky to have you during these hard times Rishi!

Lie after lie.
Striking workers are to blame for waiting lists (they were long way before striking!).
Eliminating 2 year waits (my son is on a 4 year waiting list).
Record funding (yeah, thanks for the inflation 👍).

I've had a personal hatred for Sunak ever since he was helicoptered into his seat. He does the word inept a disservice, so I'm absolutely relishing how he is the face of the Tories as they slowly destroy themselves.

Sadly, Sunak lacks the ability to reflect. He will take nothing away from this.

God I hope Rishi Sunak hurries up and fucks off

I hadn't realised my knee surgery that's been on the books since covid was due to strikes in 2023. Fascinating stuff Rishi.

Also record spending on the nhs? Is this one of those things where they have spent 300 million but relatively it would have been less than compared to 20 years ago?

General Discussion for politics in the UK.
Please don't post to both !uk_politics@feddit.uk and !unitedkingdom@feddit.uk .
Pick the most appropriate, and put it there.

Posts should be related to UK-centric politics, and should be either a link to a reputable news source for news, or a text post on this community.

Opinion pieces are also allowed, provided they are not misleading/misrepresented/drivel, and have proper sources.

If you think "reputable news source" needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread. (These things should be publicly discussed)

Posts should be manually submitted, not by bot. Link titles should not be editorialised.

Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.
Message the mods if you feel something really should be removed, or if a user seems to have a pattern of awful comments.

!ukpolitics@lemm.ee appears to have vanished! We can still see cached content from this link, but goodbye I guess! :'(
