So this happened in Portugal 😬

I found out only because I was searching for news about a piranha plant parade I saw on TV. In my search I saw that this shit happened and I’m fucking astounded! What the hell is happening?!

This is the parade I was trying to find info about if you’re curious:

What the hell is happening?!

Failure in capitalist modes of production provoke economic crises which then elicit responses either from the left, through socialism and communism, or from the right, through fascism. This is, in my view, part of a global movement towards falling profits and decline of capitalism's success.

I see the image and dont recognize any issue (?)

I can't find any connection between the news and the image. And yeah, sadly we have some nazis . But looks a minor. And our fascism is growing up because of André Ventura speech, sadly. But this seems an world/europe problem.

Nobody knows why Mário Machado isnt in jail, since he killed black people on the past.

There is no connection, they’re separate events. When I was looking up what the parade was about I typed in “Portugal piranha plant parade” and got nothing. When I searched “Portugal Mario Parade” the fascist one came up due to the main organizer being named Mario. I added the image for people who were curious about the parade I was initially looking for info about.

Oh OK. That piranha parade is probably because of carnaval. We have a city in here , where carnaval is the main event of the year. And that TV show is an entertainemnt show. Its normal see people with some customs from that shows

I didn’t realize Carnaval happened in the winter, I always thought it was a summer celebration! The more you know, I guess.

Carnaval is always celebrated in February or March. At least here and in Brazil it's like that. I don't know what it's like in other countries

Chalk that up to me being Canadian so whenever I see pictures of videos of carnival it looks like summer to me since February and March are snow filled up here.
