@kde@floss.social @socallinuxexpo @kde@lemmy.kde.social I see Steam Deck! Plasma 6 on there, soon?
@kde@floss.social @socallinuxexpo @kde@lemmy.kde.social where can l find one of these tablets on sale?
@kde@floss.social @socallinuxexpo @kde@lemmy.kde.social @linmob oooooh I wanna know about these tablets and mobile devices!
@cyberlyra @socallinuxexpo @kde@lemmy.kde.social @linmob
We have project called @plasmamobile
Pair that with, say, @postmarketOS
And you have got yourself a free and open source privacy-respecting stack for your mobile device.
Disclaimer: does not work on all hardware! Hardware is usually closed and proprietary. check the list:
@kde@floss.social @cyberlyra @socallinuxexpo @kde@lemmy.kde.social @linmob @plasmamobile @postmarketOS Now that I can buy laptops with #KDE out of the box, I'd love to be able to buy a phone with #plasmamobile OoB.
@justin @kde@floss.social @cyberlyra @socallinuxexpo @kde@lemmy.kde.social @linmob @plasmamobile @postmarketOS As much as I love what they are doing, I find the device far from what other devices offer on the market today. I don't want to give up so much on performance or camera quality, for example.
@aitorpazos @kde@floss.social @cyberlyra @socallinuxexpo @kde@lemmy.kde.social @linmob @plasmamobile @postmarketOS and that's completely fair. I have a OnePlus 6 that I use postmarketOS + Plasma Mobile on for tinkering in the hopes of one day daily driving it.
@aitorpazos @kde@floss.social @socallinuxexpo @kde@lemmy.kde.social @linmob @plasmamobile @postmarketOS
and i use #sailfishos as a daily driver, have done so for years, full functionality and everyday #mobilelinux with a great community, but I still tinker and love to try other Android-free ideas.
Cool but in my option Fossdem seemed like a cooler conference

Plasma 6 Bugs
If you encounter a bug, proceed to https://bugs.kde.org, check whether it has been reported.
If it hasn't, report it yourself.
PLEASE THINK CAREFULLY BEFORE POSTING HERE.
Developers do not look for reports on social media, so they will not see it and all it does is clutter up the feed.
