[PC] Milsim(-ish) games against AI? (lemmy.world)

Insurgency Sandstorm got me hooked. I've now played over 500 hours against bots and it's still a lot of fun.

Are there any comparable milsim(-ish) games against AI?

PC
I'm not interested in PVP
ARMA is great but for me more cramp than fun
Ground Branch feels more like a tech demo

Do you have any tips for me? They don't have to be brand new games either.

Lots of the older rainbow sixs. Las Vegas had a fun campaign but a lot of the earlier ones were just scenarios

There's a mod for Tarkov called SPT that allows you to play single player (by default it is an online only game, meaning pvp).

Try Insurgency and Day of Infamy. Both have decent hardcore combat mechanics and several game modes vs bots.

Bot AI is pretty good too.

Check out Easy Red 2, it's like old-school Battlefield 1942, has good bots, and there can be up to 100 in a match I believe. On sale on Steam right now.

Easy Red 2 is SO slept on right now relative to its quality, the work the team is putting in it, and its future potential

Crusader Kings 3? It's not a shooter, but you can still kill the AI.
