Culprit:

Apparently not even the first time it’s happened to him:

It was a setup. The woman is the girlfriend of a reform party member. Farage has form for this sort of publicity stunt.

Edit

https://ibb.co/wsygrdp

Farage is all anyone is talking about at the moment, the stunt seems to have worked.

Edit

According to the BBC a woman’s been charged, so it seems like the initial skepticism was misplaced.

Could be. I’ve no trust in The Express though. It’s a right wing rag.

[-] PrettyFlyForAFatGuy@feddit.uk 5 points 3 months ago

I've seen other british tabloids reporting the same thing

[-] refalo@programming.dev 13 points 3 months ago

tabloids

lol

[-] GiveOver@feddit.uk 19 points 3 months ago

She looks exactly like every other British girl that age. This proves nothing, you're chatting pure shit

while i’m inclined to believe you, some sort of source or even the woman’s name would help a lot….

[-] obelix@lemmy.world 13 points 3 months ago

Of course, you’re right. I’ve edited my post to include what I read earlier.

thank you 🎩👌

Thanks for sharing, would suggest another edit here:

Victoria Thomas Bowen, 25, is due to appear at Colchester Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, 2 July charged with assault by beating and criminal damage, Essex Police said.

Unless he's getting off on it, I'm just glad he's milkshaked.

Staged to get into the media spotlight by any means necessary. The security guy is wearing that jacket zipped for a reason; is looking right at her; is not reacting in any way to stop her. Looking at the reaction of the crowd, it looks like the work of a sophist; the true hallmark of the Right.

[-] SubArcticTundra@lemmy.ml 31 points 3 months ago

This will be most people's first heads up that Farage is back in the game

[-] Honytawk@lemmy.zip 15 points 3 months ago

If it is staged, we should all be pouring milkshake on the guy everywhere he goes until he stops.

[-] EnderMB@lemmy.world 59 points 3 months ago

No one man has done more harm to the UK in recent years than Farage.

[-] iAvicenna@lemmy.world 11 points 3 months ago

He is just a vulture flying on top of the destruction caused by David Cameron's political incompetence

[-] Skullgrid@lemmy.world 12 points 3 months ago

He fucking caused Cameron's incompetence.

farage stoking the fires of Brexit existed long before Cameron's idiocy. Ukip

[-] TheIvoryTower@lemmy.world 30 points 3 months ago

Her milkshake would bring me (a boy) to her yard.

[-] then_three_more@lemmy.world 5 points 3 months ago

Her yard of course being her onlyfans

[-] driving_crooner 18 points 3 months ago

People saying is fake, but you can't fake the smile of the red shirt guy.

[-] phdepressed@sh.itjust.works 29 points 3 months ago

That is a dark purple shirt for the people who aren't colorblind.

[-] jabathekek@sopuli.xyz 8 points 3 months ago

Nuh uh, it's maroon.

[-] Firipu@startrek.website 4 points 3 months ago

Also more commonly known as black for us simple folk.

[-] tb_@lemmy.world 8 points 3 months ago

Just because the main two were in on it doesn't mean the bystanders have to be

[-] Ghyste@sh.itjust.works 17 points 3 months ago

No such thing as bad publicity so might as well have an acquaintance's life-size barbie embarrass you with a milkshake.

[-] psud@aussie.zone 28 points 3 months ago* (last edited 3 months ago)

an acquaintance's life-size barbie embarrass you with a milkshake.

Because women are property in the mind of @ghyste@sh.itjust.works

[-] Ghyste@sh.itjust.works 10 points 3 months ago

Whatever you say, bub.

[-] crapwittyname@lemm.ee 4 points 3 months ago
[-] psud@aussie.zone 6 points 3 months ago

Of course the horribly sexist comment was intended as a joke. A sexist joke is sexist.

[-] crapwittyname@lemm.ee 3 points 3 months ago* (last edited 3 months ago)

Calling someone a life sized Barbie is a sexist comment, but writing the comment makes the commenter sexist in the same way that playing the T-1000 makes Arnold Schwarzenegger an android from the future.

[-] psud@aussie.zone 2 points 3 months ago

I had more of a problem with the ownership words than the description of the woman as looking Barbie-like

[-] FartsWithAnAccent@fedia.io 13 points 3 months ago

Fuck that guy

[-] TwigletSparkle@lemmy.blahaj.zone 7 points 3 months ago

Some bigots wear milkshakes though

[-] BigDanishGuy@sh.itjust.works 5 points 3 months ago

404 no hero found

It was either political violence or a false flag operation. Either way, no heroes were involved.

I was hoping that milkshakings return after Andy Ngo pretended he suffered severe brain injury from one, and it's a staged one...
