Welcome to c/news! Please read the Hexbear Code of Conduct and remember... we're all comrades here.

Rules:

-- PLEASE KEEP POST TITLES INFORMATIVE --

-- Overly editorialized titles, particularly if they link to opinion pieces, may get your post removed. --

-- All posts must include a link to their source. Screenshots are fine IF you include the link in the post body. --

-- If you are citing a twitter post as news please include not just the twitter.com in your links but also nitter.net (or another Nitter instance). There is also a Firefox extension that can redirect Twitter links to a Nitter instance: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/libredirect/ or archive them as you would any other reactionary source using e.g. https://archive.today/ . Twitter screenshots still need to be sourced or they will be removed --

-- Mass tagging comm moderators across multiple posts like a broken markov chain bot will result in a comm ban--

-- Repeated consecutive posting of reactionary sources, fake news, misleading / outdated news, false alarms over ghoul deaths, and/or shitposts will result in a comm ban.--

-- Neglecting to use content warnings or NSFW when dealing with disturbing content will be removed until in compliance. Users who are consecutively reported due to failing to use content warnings or NSFW tags when commenting on or posting disturbing content will result in the user being banned. --

-- Using April 1st as an excuse to post fake headlines, like the resurrection of Kissinger while he is still fortunately dead, will result in the poster being thrown in the gamer gulag and be sentenced to play and beat trashy mobile games like 'Raid: Shadow Legends' in order to be rehabilitated back into general society. --

I'm sure the guys standing in open windows or too scared to leave their tanks against a less trained and starved guerilla force will do great against a better equipped military force. Isn'treal should start now

The IOF paper tiger is begging to be exposed at this point.

Hezbollah are actually scary. They do the wild shit you see in video games. But in real life. With no respawn. Like bold and fearless shit. Hiding in holes for hours with a buddy to pop out and have one guy run at a passing tank to plop a bomb on it and run back while another shoots an rpg at said bomb so the combination pierces through the reactive armor kind of shit. Then actually getting away with it to do it again.

The IDF is taking so long to prepare so as to give their soldiers time to piss and shit themselves dry at the prospect of facing Hezbollah again.

the iof 18 year old colonels weren't even born during last lebanon operation, thus offer fresh view into the operational theater.

IDF general staff meetings be like "I yield the floor to the Admiral of the Navy, who has just finished his bottle."

Honestly I think Israel is too settler brained for their own good. They're gonna keep provoking shit till they pick a fight they can't handle.

[–] Tunnelvision@hexbear.net 8 points 5 months ago

They already can’t handle Hamas. Turns out the anti Zionist project was the stupid decisions made along the way.

I bet they think the US will send troops, which they might, but the end result will be the same.

I feel like the one thing that could completely reunite Lebanese people is an Israeli offensive, so I guess thanks for that…

[–] blobjim@hexbear.net 19 points 5 months ago

waiting for Uncle Sam to give the green light

[–] Mardoniush@hexbear.net 18 points 5 months ago (1 children)

Are they really so confident they can win a regional war?

Looking fowards to seeing Hezbollah, Syrian, Rojavan, and Turkish brigades aimed in the same direction for the first time ever.

[–] LaughingLion@hexbear.net 6 points 5 months ago

50k soldiers pissing their pants because Hezbollah is capturing and killing them coming soon to a media outlet near you.

[–] Tunnelvision@hexbear.net 12 points 5 months ago

That is legitimately stupid I wouldn’t be surprised if Lebanon invades northern Israel.

[–] SteamedHamberder@hexbear.net 7 points 5 months ago

Yeah the decision is to try and move the Lebanon border to Turkey.
