I've really been enjoying Duviri story wise and gameplay wise. I know I've had several people talk about how much they loved Zariman, I like the new modes but the tiles themselves are a bit much for me personally

I can tell you I dont like granum void as i mindlessly grinded it for like 8 hours to get 2 sets of protea and all the weapon parts, not counting the jackal kills for BP.

Just started Railjack for the first time because i needed titanium, looks super cool and fun, i just wish there was a better tutorial as its gating me from a quest and some content.

I really like railjack, I think it is very fun. That being said, it is difficult to get into, as the tutorial is not great, and it takes a while to improve your railjack to the point that it is fun to use. But once you have put the resources in and gotten your railjack built out, it is very rewarding and cool gameplay.

I've spent hours in Granums trying for protea, somehow have never got the systems. At least Mesa and Xoris make them super fast

I really enjoyed release Railjack, despite the bugs. I miss a lot of how it was during its first iteration - the more frequent and more dangerous hazards, the way the forge worked, a stronger sense of teamwork, etc. But the NPC crew we have now is great, and the individual Plexus allowing people to bring some personal preference when they end up as client on the host's RJ is welcome. It always felt like we got 25% of the game mode and were just waiting for... more. Then Corpus RJ came out and was a bit underwhelming. The Volatile mode is great, and boarding the ship for a one and done mission like an Exterminate or Spy is fine, but the Defence and Survival feel pretty meh and like a missed opportunity for meatier actually-Railjack endless missions

Liches were fun for the first two or three, then got old very fast. I'm grateful for the QOL updates they've had over time

When my interest in the game was petering out a bit because I had plateaued, Steel Path came out and completely re-invigorated me. It just felt like having somewhere where all the time spent grinding for strong builds mattered, and I was finally able to hop in somewhere where enemies were a match for me off the bat. We've power crept further over time with weapon arcanes, Galvanized mods, easier amour stripping etc, so base SP isn't quite the challenge it once was, but we've gotten faster scaling content to make up for it. Each update to it over time has just made it better. The Acolytes are great - I love it when Violence comes in and fucks everyone's shit up. The release of SP fissures let me actually enjoy cracking relics again

The Zariman was just all round amazing for me. Story and lore wise it was exciting to finally get access to it, and the tileset is beautiful. The new game modes are amazing and I was super excited to get the blend of Operator and Warframe gameplay - again the feeling that the time I'd spent gearing up my Operator was rewarded. The focus rework and the new Eximus also really freshened things up. Overall the Zariman has definitely been my most favoured update and I'm not sure what could top it. A whole new starchart in Tau maybe?

I've loved Duviri and got no complaints, other than some of the bugs and instability, which is generally expected with every update. I haven't been able to put in the time I want in exploring Duviri itself and getting all the collectibles, but the SP Circuit has been amazing and great fun - easy to hop on and do for an hour or so and then hop off. Again it's the pattern where I feel rewarded for all the time I've spent building up a full and forma'd arsenal

I was on hiatus when railjack first came out, so when I came back it was the current iteration. I absolutely love rail jack though, I really wish they would add more content to it too

I've always been a fan of Grineer railjack specifically. The Corpus ones where you have to do a regular mission are meh.

[-] Dystopia@dormi.zone 4 points 1 year ago

I really wish they would rework the Corpus Railjack missions. They feel more like you're just flying a taxi to start a regular star chart mission, while the Grineer missions actually feel like a different experience from the base stat chart.

I also liked that in the Grineer missions, objectives can be done in parallel if you're playing public, unlike the Corpus missions the entire squad is gated by a timed side objective, and requires the entire team to start the main objective.

[-] Anhanguara@dormi.zone 3 points 1 year ago

Yes, Corpus Railjack nodes should all become Skirmish, like the Grineer nodes. There's a good variety of main objectives on skirmish already, I don't see why someone would go to Railjack wanting to play Survival or Defense.

SP circuit for sure! Really strikes the right balance between challenging and power fantasy for me. I wish the rewards and replayability were a bit higher but the content itself is pretty fun.

I’m a big Railjack fan. I also really enjoy Duviri, it quite reinvigorated my desire to play when it came out. Especially the Circuit.

[-] XinniX@dormi.zone 4 points 1 year ago

You and me both. I'm always looking for excuses to do railjack missions

[-] Keekles@dormi.zone 3 points 1 year ago

I just wish the Railjack ai pilots weren't so dumb. It's hard to find groups for railjack, and the ai pilots just spin in place or are otherwise completely useless. :(

[-] Rylatar@dormi.zone 4 points 1 year ago

That’s why I never use AI pilots. I put my folks on guns when I’m not farming XP plus one engineer and pilot myself. Well piloting is the most fun part to me too.

[-] Anhanguara@dormi.zone 3 points 1 year ago

I do the same configuration on my crew, I just focus on piloting and let them do the shooting. Been ages since I was boarded.... only complaint I have is having to leave the pilot seat to shoot the Artillery.

[-] Keekles@dormi.zone 2 points 1 year ago

I do the same, but those grineer missions where you have to hop into do objectives while the ship does another outside objective just end up taking so much time because AI pilot is busy spinning in circles out there in the wide expanse of space.

[-] HKayn@dormi.zone 4 points 1 year ago

I think the Steel Path Circuit is a great time waster for a veteran who has already done it all, and a great piece of endgame content because it requires you to revisit your entire arsenal and max it out.

[-] Keekles@dormi.zone 3 points 1 year ago

I'm enjoying Circuit -- where before I couldn't stand doing long endless missions because of the monotony of the same thing over and over again, circuit throws enough variety to keep it somewhat interesting.

Scarlet Spear was a mess as released on PC, and still had problems when it made it to consoles, but once most of those problems were it was amazing.

It felt epic, story wise.

Every single frame was useful.

The rewards were amazing.

It hinted at a promise of integration still not achieved years later.

[-] viridis777@dormi.zone 2 points 1 year ago

I like railjack but the gameplay could use more variety. Combat is a bit bland once you get past the novelty of piloting a ship. Otherwise it has loads of potential for teamplay imo

[-] Selkie210@lemmygrad.ml 1 points 1 year ago

I love the Grineer rail jacks, for whatever reason the novelty hasn't worn off after how much I've played them but the Corpus ones have the big taxi problem to me
