I've never had a speeding ticket. So presumably I'll get one tomorrow.

Did you get a speeding ticket? Haha!
I did not, but in fairness I also didn't drive. Likely still just around the corner.
Never broken a bone. Doesn't sound impressive but I am over 30 and have done high risk sport since I was 14 and high risk work since 20.
I've not broken a bone either, im nearly 50 years young, but I have dislocated both of my shoulders!!
not even a hairline?
nope. Worse thing was a rolled ankle.
im a bit annoyed because I almost never do sports stuff but got a hairline froma gym class
I have never caught Covid (as far as I know), i took tests whenever i felt a bit under the weather, always negative.
Hey! Technically, none of my tests ever showed covid either. But I 100% had it because my SO got sick right after me and she tested for it.
yup. wife and I tested but nothing ever came up positive. We actually went a reall long time without being sick in any significant way with the distancing and masking and such. just over 4 years. we basically had not been sick going in since start of 2019 and then got something start of this year. We both personally mask indoors in public settings so im curious how long we can go without getting sick. prior to 2019 we would get sick about once a year.
I've never seen the Pacific Ocean. I've as West as Boise Idaho and Las Vegas Nevada but I haven't had the chance to go farther. I think the Pacific Northwest would be really cool to explore.
Nobody I know (aside from family) has ever seen the Pacific Ocean.
Hmm I never thought of this before but I might have never seen the Atlantic Ocean except maaaybe from a plane window.
But I've seen, been in, and been on Pacific waters many times.
I'm the opposite I've been in the Gulf of Mexico a few times, 2 of the Great Lakes, and the Atlantic too
I've never had a cup of coffee. I've eaten coffee flavored things, and eaten coffee beans, but never had or tasted brewed coffee.
I mayb have sipped it but I only have had enough to know I don't like it. never even near a whole cup or a shot. Usually when I do eat something coffee flavored its by accident.
Any listener would be here all day if they wanted to hear all the things I've never done. I never owned a vehicle. I never owned a bicycle. I never learned to ride one. I never learned to dance. I never learned to sing. I never learned to swim. I never learned CPR. I never learned an instrument. I never learned to knit or sew. I never learned sign language. I never crossed the border. I never went to Disneyworld. I never went to Universal. I never saw The Wizard of Oz from start to finish. I never saw a James Bond movie. I never saw Old Yeller. I never saw E.T. I never saw or met many of my relatives. And I too can relate to the eighth thing you said (you're not any lesser than I am because of that or anything else... as a human who still tries their best).
Hmm... you mention never going beyond middle school... then mentioning happiness and teenage years... did something happen in your teenage years that ended your happiness?
My parents divorced, moving in with my grandparents, never learned how to make friends, failing at math, going from home to school and nothing else.
As someone with this problem, I've always been conflicted at the notion of oneself not being able to make friends. I myself can relate to those words in a way, often drawing a blank at knowing what things to say in a conversation to keep it alive and this seems like it would make things underwhelming for most people. But on the other hand, knowing I myself have the power not to mind is like a reminder to me that there are no universal rules one must follow in friendship maintenance. Socialization is just a standard, and so are most of the things people typically expect out of others. I would imbue faith in the goal of finding these more easy people if it was easy, but I know it's not, though I can still offer myself and do offer myself. I'm very ubiquitous (there are many who know this well) if you ever want a lady friend to talk to, and it would make me feel good if I can help you build up. I'm sorry about your parental situation, I certainly cannot fully replace anyone's parents but hope I can be good for what's important. Also, I probably suck at math more than you.
Never been stung. By a bee or a wasp. Wasps I actively avoid, I hangout with bees though.
Oh same!!
I've never been to Boston in the fall
I've been to prom but never with a real date.
I've told lies but never cheated on a test.
I've flown in planes but never jumped out of one. (I would like to try but my husband doesn't want me to, and I love him so I won't put myself at risk like that unless he's ok with it.)
I have never hung a picture, or mowed a lawn.
You aren’t missing anything on the lawn lol.
I'm from Morocco. I have never left Morocco. I have always wanted to leave Morocco, hell, permanently even. I fucking hate my country. Context: Morocco is the most patriotic country in the world with about 94% of its citizens willing to fight for their country. I'm one of the 6% who don't.
So why haven't I left Morocco? Everyone imposes visa restrictions on us, and the ones that don't aren't THAT great. Türkiye is the cheapest destination that doesn't require a visa, South Korea won't even let us in (immigrants, that's why), Brazil is cool I guess, same with the Dominican Republic, but I don't think I can visit Hong Kong and expect to come back safely. San Marino requires you to enter through a Schengen country, in this case Italy, so it doesn't even count anyway because Schengen requires a visa to enter.
Also, I'm queer, which means EVERYONE is my enemy. I could go to jail if I come out of my tiny ass closet. And once I finally get to the country of my dreams, I'm always expecting some bigot to tell me to go back where I come from.
This is seriously depressing.
My dad was stationed in Morocco back in the 50’s. He had good an experience there.
Good for him.
I’m sorry I realize that might not have come out the right way. It sucks they aren’t progressive and understanding and I hope you can get to a physical location where people are accepting and you can live your life outside the closet. ❤️
Thank you. I always appreciate comments like this.
Ummm how old are you if you don’t mind me asking? I’m about 50. You sound younger and you still have time.
Lots of things I’ve never done, but lots of them I don’t wanna do. I never skydived. I’m on the fence about that the older I get. Wanna see the Grand Canyon and Rocky mountains in the US. Alaska too. Get married and stay married lol.
