I used to listen to this stuff all the time while reading/studying.
I'll try to find my old YouTube mix, but here's one I used to listen to. If you search sovietwave it's an entire genre.
This type of music and images of the Soviet space program just makes me feel melancholic. To think that there was a better world where we all worked together to explore space instead of the hellworld we created. I'm not even a super "space nerd" type of person, but it actually makes me feel a deep sadness for what was and may never be. I imagine those cosmonauts who spent their lives training and what they must think of the world now. Even NASA has been gutted compared to the past. Without Soviets around to embarrass the US I guess everyone stopped giving a shit... very very depressing.
