This is actually pretty lit
thx
this is pretty sick. love the one red star (or planet i guess?) that's a nice touch
wow you noticed that? haha thanks, it felt weird drawing a single red dot, like you're making a mistake or something... kinda wild how even one pixel can add depth.
yeah I really like how it complements the more dominant blue of the horizon
I'm imagining it's red because it's a communism planet, like a small glimmer of hope amidst the cold darkness of space. it looks small and insignificant from here but is in fact a thriving society full of life
Really good work. Rewards you for looking
Prettier than it has any right to be
I like it! It reminds me of this really old CD I found which had all these old-timey games on it. One of them was a game in which you were a hollowed triangular ship in space shooting other hollow looking geometric ships that would break apart into little straight lines. I can't articulate what that visual style is called, but this neat little drawing reminded me of that!
Was it Asteroids?
Yes! It looked exactly like that except the outlines were neon coloured. Released 1979... now that's old! Wish I could remember what CD had all those games on it...
I used to do that. Then I was a homeless bum for a while and then I stopped getting high.
Oh nice. At first I thought it was bugged on mobile but I think the lines are just so thin that at lower res it just looks like a solid black image. Love the style
