If there were 10,000 jedi during Episode three, and 18% of Americans are under 14, then there should have been on the order of 1,800 kids at the temple.
I guess if you factor in that jedi might not show up until their third birthday (21%) and the age of the average jedi skews older than the US population (Yoda is definitely fucking up the comparison here) you'd still think there would be 250-900 kids at the temple.
