Engels talks about the subject. Including some comparisons between the Peasants' War and the revolutions in 1848~9 (fresh in his memory as the text was initially published in 1850). I recommend everyone here to give it a check.
Was it the one where peasants took the teachings of Martin Luther seriously, which was followed by Martin Luther siding with the aristocracy against the peasants?
