We shouldn't be surprised at all that a man who is famous for not paying vendors is using software that doesn't work as advertised. The vendor is probably slow-rolling support tickets in favor of clients that pay.

Also note the end of the article: it mentions many alternatives, and why the Trump team rejected each one because of ties to other Republicans that Trump hates.

He has a lot of supporters that'd do it for free, but he's also the kind of client who would insist on so much stupid bullshit that the app has a 300MB patch every other day. "Let's make the news feed a 4K video of a bullet point slide because the campaign team can just whip a new one up every day alongside different music, and it has to be 4K otherwise it might look gross". Basically the Homer Simpson bubblecar of apps

Better headline: Trump ground game undercut by unoptimized app that keeps crashing.

(Even with "fast" Internet, I can guarantee you if it's running into these problems in rural areas, it's still a piece of crap.)

Leon is running the ground game into the ground. The guy is a literal fraud scum fuck. He couldn’t navigate himself out of a phone booth let alone be trusted to run companies without faking it by getting the smartest people in the room to explain in childspeak what it is they do at the company he just bought and regurgitates it the public as if he made it himself. He deserves to crash and burn.
