Wow. The app is much more optimized now. It’s much more responsive on my iPhone 8 Plus.

FAQ
- When will insert feature here be implemented?
- Check our issue board--if there isn't an issue open for the feature you want, feel free to open an issue or make post! Just remember that devs are people too--we're doing this for free in our spare time, and building a quality app takes a lot of patient work.
- Is Mlem available for Android?
- No. Mlem is written using SwiftUI, which is not currently supported on Android. If such support becomes available, we will look into bringing Mlem to our Android friends.
- How do I join the beta?
- We are currently testing our new 2.0 codebase on TestFlight. We have two beta groups: a weekly group that receives the current state of our development branch every week, and a stable group that receives a curated pre-release build at the end of each development cycle.

I still have some layouting issues on a iPad, cut off texts, titles and images
Fixed ☕️🥲
Ah, my bad: Didn’t realize this was happening for all post types (not just image ones). Looking at it now :)
I’m unable to access any communities through links. In particular, I’m subscribed to trendingcommunities. However if I click a link to check one out, I just get a loading message and then nothing happens. Apologies if this isn’t the place to point this out, but I haven’t found a report bugs button anywhere. This just started after the last update. iPhone SE 2nd gen iOS 17.
Added to our bug tracker, thanks for the report!
I know the app is named Mlem and makes you think of a cat with their tongue out, but could we get a native app icon that doesn’t look like that? I’m tired of people asking why I have a furry app on my homescreen.
Yeah, we're working on it. It's unfortunately shockingly hard to find good designers who are willing to volunteer their time, but we're working on it.
I could probably help
Thanks, rearranging widgets now work on iOS 17! Although it looks kinda strange that the info widget is centered, because I moved it to the left and now the time is surrounded by white space.
Also I noticed the settings icons have wrong margin/padding on my iPhone 12 with iOS 17, but they look normal on my iPhone X with iOS 16. iPhone 12/iOS 17:
