This is a Dengist community in favor of Bashar al-Assad with no information that can lead to the arrest of Hillary Clinton, our fellow liberal and queen. This community is not ironic. We are Marxists-Leninists.

This community is for posts about Marxism and geopolitics (including shitposts to some extent). Serious posts can be posted here or in /c/GenZhou. Reactionary or ultra-leftist cringe posts belong in /c/shitreactionariessay or /c/shitultrassay respectively.

We have a Matrix homeserver and a Matrix space. See this thread for more information. If you believe the server may be down, check the status on status.elara.ws.

Amin is a writer who despite his death I feel has yet to be replaced. A tenuous situation. Hope someone steps up.

Yeah, Vijay Prashad doesn't replace them

Not to be glib as I do find plenty of his work useful, but really there are too many Chomsky fans running around the tech and politics spheres coining buzzwords like Hyperimperialism, Technofeudalism, and Enshittification to label stuff that is better described using extant terminology! I can't really judge if it is just the kind of thing that bugs me or they are trying to compete to make something with groundbreaking-sounding vibes.

There are lots of disputes about the definition of imperialism and what a world system is, etcetera, that involve fundamental differences in seeing the world, but with these writers sometimes it feels like repackaging and then sourcing mainstream journalism and academics rather than following the deep historical research and citations of some decolonial theorists. Plus there are the overtures to socdems they make.
