I bought an amcrest poe that's been pretty reliable. I installed it when there was a trap house/ game room operating next door. it's been super reliable and with POE I basically can forget it exists. I have a home nas I store to.

I don’t own any amcrest PoE cams, but I’ve purchased several of their cams in the past and didn’t have issues with vendor lock in. When I was pricing out a PoE system, that’s who I was going to use.

Have you looked at Lorex? I only have one but strongly considering switching over my whole infrastructure.
