The world is facing mass extinction and rather than strong leadership in the U.S. we see Biden cool with plastic pollution and the so-called liberal candidate cheerleading fracking.

Trump is worse of course, but that doesn't mean the Democrats are the good guys.

First comment, and it's already blaming Democrats. I had to double check what thread I was in...

But no, of course it's the Democrats' fault. Go away.

Edit: how about y'all be adults and take responsibility for your actions. But no, it's everyone's fault but yours

And you made a knee jerk comment without bothering to try to understand any nuance beyond your own tribalism with the Democrats.

Biden backed out of controlling plastic pollution since the election. And part of Kamala's platform was fracking is fucking cool.

Trump is absolutely worse and I voted for Kamala, but that doesn't mean the current administration aren't duplicitous shits.

Western hegemony is over. I hope China does better.

If someone wins a race and then loses then the loss is because of something they did.

Sorry this is difficult to process.

In many ways it seems like the one-party system in China has surpassed the one-party system in USA.

BRICS literally paid off enough US politicians to put Donald Trump (a Russian asset) in charge of the country twice.

Democracies are inherently fragile to corruption, but are objectively better for the avg person than any dictatorship.

Yup. China is able to turn the tariffs around to impact US businesses more than Chinese.

China will relocate consumer-ready production to other nations to avoid the price hike of the tariffs. The Chinese-manufactured textiles, plastics, and components used in domestic products will still be impacted by the tariffs, resulting in increased cost of domestically produced products using Chinese materials.
