I have too much of a backlog of games i haven't played yet. I did not buy anything. Friendly reminder to play your playlist before buying a new game.
Yeah I got the steam deck in the early spring this year and am still trying to get through Witcher 3 and fallout 4. I have a handful of games I got for PC back 15 years ago on steam that I still need to work on after that
Oh, shit, there's a sale?
https://store.steampowered.com/
Hmmm... old games I already own, games I won't bother downloading...
Epic Mickey Rebrushed for $30 isn't bad.
Space Marines II for $47.99 needs a bigger discount...
Space Marine II came out only a few months ago, expect a deeper discount mid '25.
I'm really tempted to pick up Psychonauts 2 which is currently 90% off.
Do yourself a favor and do it. It's honestly an actual masterpiece of gaming imo.
I got it full price and it was worth it
I'm actually here to just find out where i can get my own demi-dog..?
The only thing I care about on the store right now is the factorio dlc, and that's never gonna go on sale. I'll probably buy that once I finish all the achievements for satisfactory.
I can only recommend it. After about 60 hours I finally landed on vulcanus and I'm now experiencing the feeling of how it is to getting used to all of these long and complex Ressource chains.
After 60 hours I finally left Gleba. As soon as I got "home" had to head back to Gleba. Still stuck there. In the beginning I hate Gleba, now I love it. It gave me back the feeling of playing Factorio for the first time, running around and know nothing (and I I have over 3.5k hours). 10/10 would recommend the DLC.
Get it as soon as you can afford it. As you have already noticed, the price only goes up, and it never goes on sale. The people that made this game know that they made digital crack, and aren't inclined to spread the addiction.
Not on steam, but I bought Haven and The Talos Principle 2 on GoG.
I already played Haven on GamePass a few years ago, but I wanted to own it because it's very good (also to support the developers). As for Talos, I played the original twice and absolutely loved it, so I'm eager to play the sequel.
I played Talos principal 2 this year and it honestly blew me away. It goes without saying the puzzles were intriguing but the story, world building, atmosphere and dialogue are the real stars of the experience.
Psychonauts 2, 90% off.
Oh that's a good deal and I've been waiting years for it to get cheap! Time to finally play it.
Forza Horizon 4 has 80% discount and it will get delisted this December.
All DLCs are now on simple Deluxe and Ultimate edition.
Might as well grab it before gone.
They're on no traffic lights, crossing points, or bicycles in that image.
Nothing. Hoarding resources for the apocalypse.
Nothing, I got more than enough games left to play:
- Xenoblade Chronicles 3 DLC
- Shadow Gambit DLC
- Tactical Breach Wizards
- AI2 Nirvana Initiative
- Unicorn Overlord
- Mario&Luigi Brothership
- Against The Storm
... and actually a bunch more I can't even recall right now...
Man I'm the same. I have a couple hours screen time after work but often I'm tired an just wanna read a book.
I've only just started gaming again after a twenty year gap so I've got a big wishlist. I get excited about games that I want to play, buy them on sale - and then don't have time to play them.
I started gaming when pong and space invaders were cutting edge. There's just so much cool stuff out there these days, damn we're lucky, I just wish I had more playtime!
Absolutely nothing, like in the past like 5 years.
Currently (re)playing all Half-Life and Portal games in order they were released.
Deep Rock Galactic Survivor. I like to play casual games after work to de-stress a bit. Mostly tower defense games. Hoping this one will work well
FF7 Remake. I tried a "demo" and have been waiting for a sale. It's still more than I'd like to spend on the game, but I want to go back and continue my saved game.
Nothing, I'm from Argentina and now if I buy a game I can't eat for a weak.
Sorry to hear that. Sail the high seas with no worries. You can still contribute to digital preservation of games by seeding. But don't worry if you can't do that.
I hope things get better for you!
Im seeding as no one with my 4tb disk and 30mb of upload 💪
Haven't bought yet but I'm thinking of getting Old School Rally. I played a few racing games that looked just like this when I was a child so the visuals are giving me intense nostalgia
Grotto!!
$1.29 for an absolute gem of a game. Totally recommend! Works great on my steam deck and ps4 controller
My power supply on my PC died, so don't have any money for games right now.
Hades 2.
Baldurs Gate 3
I got a steam deck last spring, before that I've not done any gaming since I had a PS2 so I've got a good twenty years of games to catch up on. It's a bit frustrating how crap I am at gaming, particularly with shooters. I'm trying some different things to try and figure out what I'm into. I recently finished bioshock, so I just bought bioshock infinite. Also alien isolation, Alan wake, resident evil, and Uncharted legacy of thieves collection. I don't get a lot of screen time but I'll find time to try em out and see what grabs me.

Since you have a Steam Deck, did you experiment with gyro and trackpad aim? I suck at controller aiming as well but that makes it so much easier.
Hmm no I haven't. Thanks, maybe I should give it a try. I guess trackpad aim is just using the pads instead of the joystick? I've not used gyros at all, does that require tilting the device? Yeah I seem to be enjoying FPS games but I'm frustrated by how shit I am even on easy mode! I used to be good at unreal tournament way back but seems like games have come a long way since then and I've lost the knack.
i picked up 3 games.
Serious Sam Siberian Mayhem. i liked SS4 a lot and have heard good things about Siberian Mayhem.
Alan Wake American Nightmare. i enjoyed the first Alan Wake game so i'm interested in what AN has to offer.
and Push the Cat with WASD. i played the demo during the summer Next Fest and i was intrigued by it. a nice little brain teaser.
None, I told myself that I have to first play my last paid games at least once before I buy a new one.
Made sure to only buy some Indies.
As I wanna make sure in the future as well.
While I aint moneybags but more stable than the start od the year.
I wanna make sure I buy one indie game a month when in able to.
I will probably buy Horizon Forbidden West for my son. Told him to wait until it is discounted. But 40 € is still very much the full price of many other games. And we already bought all the Christmas presents this year. Decisions decisions.
At least I've still got a few more days to decide.
Nothing yet, maybe the Vampire Survivors Castlevania DLC. Otherwise probably nothing and wait for the Winter Sale.
