Flashpoint makes me think of Operation Flashpoint made in Flash. That'd be so good lol

Wow, that's a name I hadn't heard of for a very long time. Now I'm feeling old, thanks for nothing.

Anything from newgrounds or ebaumsworld? What about stickdeath.com?

Well, if you wanted the old Flash games on Newgrounds, you could always go to Newgrounds! They're serious about preservation and are a major sponsor of Ruffle, the modern Flash emulator. Thanks to that, people are still submitting Flash games today.

Anyway, here's the original Alien Hominid.

There's a flash version of portal that I recall was pretty good...

When I still had a dual-boot, I found a project that had managed to scrape and save thousands of flash games from websites into a database you could easily run on your own computer. Even games that were originally behind paywalls were available, in full.

I have to check this out, as well.

Can't remember. Perhaps?

Wah, I just spent several hours playing Warfare 1917 again...

[–] Sergio@slrpnk.net 1 points 2 weeks ago

Oh yeah Hex Empire's pretty cool too.

Perhaps it should be curated a bit. I can't imagine most of those are worth playing.

[–] subignition@fedia.io 17 points 3 weeks ago

Their goal is archival, curation would run counter to that

[–] theywilleatthestars@lemmy.world 1 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Who gets to decide what isn't worth playing?

[–] Alexstarfire@lemmy.world 1 points 2 weeks ago

Me, of course.
