That's totally your right, just like it was for the lemmy.world mods. They made a choice, they weren't forced into anything as far as anyone knows.
Seems like everyone wants a bunch of arbitrary rules today. I think all this upheaval is normal for a rapidly growing decentralized network. Having a rule that no one in the fediverse can do something is going to be unenforceable.
I just uninstalled it with tears in my eyes. It was a good run boosty.
Now let's get that boost for lemmy!
Why are there so many posts on this same issue? Can't people just comment on one of the multitude of other posts rather than creating new ones?
I went to the web interface and changed it there. That seemed to do the trick.
I'm assuming it's not a simple port. They'll probably be buggy at first.

I had an issue yesterday where I couldn't post a comment without going into the web interface to pick a language.
It's great. Probably the most reliable app for me. I had some trouble when I had an account on another instance. That's probably your problem. Lemmy world should stabilize soon.
