That's an interesting one with the jury. They were deadlocked but still insisted on deliberating for 20 hours. I wonder if it was like the movie 12 Angry Men, but instead of one juror advocating for the innocence of the defendant, they argued for their guilt.

i cannot understand why anyone could sleep at night knowing their value in society is 0.

You gotta switch the cables. I'm assuming right now that you only want what you deserve through your labor. If you have extra or someone else is in need, you would rather they have it than you horde it or gain some luxury. Switch the cables so that what you value is hoarding and having luxuries without any merit. If someone else needs something, your power to not give leftovers to them is confirmation of your self-worth.

The 'do you mind' question a great example of why many neurodivergent people have such a hard time in social settings, keeping track of all of the contradictory social expectations that don't make sense is tiring and not everyone is consistent.

Yes! Thank you very much. It's at least a triple-effect because (1) we get confused about what the response means so we have to focus on solving the riddle, (2) solving the riddle consumes more mental energy so we have less in reserve, and (3) we miss out on everything that occured while we were figuring out the riddle so we have to catch up when we already run slower.

Thanks for the help! I can understand it retrospect, but in the moment, I will be unsure and request confirmation. It's just how it is 🤷

What does that mean about your preference with the use of "do you mind"-like questions?

I dont think I've ever looked at them

Mannnnn, I would be the same way. That whole seeing people cut open is hard enough. I can't imagine seeing someone I care about anesthetized, cut open, and then their insides. I rather continue my delusion that their insides look like a mix of their outsides and their personality.

Pedants: He asked if she minded. She responded saying, "Sure thing," which is an affirmative response, meaning that she did mind. He still attempted to use the bathroom despite her saying she was uncomfortable with that.

I have difficulty with interactions in which people use "do you mind" that I have to be extra clear. Anyone else?

They think, "Jesus was cool. I like him, and I'm gonna try to be like him." Kind of like their guiding light is what would Jesus do? But there isn't a focus on identification, recruiting others, judging others based on their religion, fear of God, fear of punishment for sinning, respect for clergy as an authority, rituals, worship, etc. Basically, just the example of Jesus' life.

I'm trying to see what we look like in NT settings from a 3rd person view. Most of the examples I know are shows about autism specifically, but I'm looking for a more natural NT setting type of thing.

Edit: Looking for a normal show in which one of the main characters are autistic, but autism is not the central focus. My brain feels like it's gunked up lately, so having trouble explaining things. Like trying to run in a nightmare. iassgdgdsflsfd

Anyone else feel like that in less than month, we might be remembering the good ol' days?
