Pretty much every single time a revolutionary socialist movement has taken power it has improved literacy, child mortality, wealth inequality, nutrition, and just about any other quality-of-life metric you can name. Get the fuck out of here with your "human nature" bullshit. Communism always works.

Pro tip: if you live in a city then go to office clearance places and see what they have there. Over lockdown I got a refurbed Steelcase chair for £250, and it shits all over basically any other chair I've ever even looked at.

I kinda thought that the system of combining units in in civ v was a bit of an improvement on the "stacks of doom", all told.

I installed Gentoo back when I was just starting out with Linux (I got the release from the DVD on the front of a magazine, if you want an idea of how long ago this was!). I learned a tonne about Linux that has stuck with me to this day, but then promptly wiped the drive and installed something that I actually wanted to use day-to-day hahaha.

So yeah, it happens!
