I don't take reviews at face value, I have a game on steam too so I know some reviews may be way off.

How true is the negative top review, a player killed an admin/GM in PvP and got banned for it?

I could argue this, I am Swedish and we have "free education", you only have to pay living costs and we have a really good deal with CSN loan that has the lowest rates in the country and you only have to pay back when you are employed.

But to the point, about 70% of the students leave because it's not for them. Either they change program (packages of classes) or just drop out.

But I think the strength of not being an uninformed country is before collage, we learn about politics and it's structures, how to vote and stuff like that in the gymnasium, it's like Highschool. Not sure how your highschool works but in gymnasium you pick a "program"/major, example "Physics, Electric, Economics" and stuff like that, and it's focused on that with added basic lessions, so it's sort of like Collage in US but at an earlier age. Most does not go to collage/university since gymnasium is usually enough.

Edit; If we look at the demographic of "SD" (Sverige Demokraterna) an extreme far right party in Sweden, its a clear connection that they never finished gymnasium or that they dropped out. (Highschool drops out), but they also only had roughly 11% of the votes of the total population.

I agree that the world need to go greed several years ago, we are past of no return and are just breaking before the crash, now it's only how hard we will hit the bricks.

But Sweden is a tiny county compared to other countries and ain't the problem when it comes to the climate change, sure everyone should draw their straw to the ant hill, but prolonging 12y in Sweden isn't the problem, it's the bigger counties that need the big changes..

Hi, Swedish here, since the topic is on Sweden, the installment is made by small companies not big electric companies like Vattenfall. We also have subvented solar panels.

Civil war broke out, some dude close to Putin offended Putin and Putin bombed his friend, friend didn't like and started a coupe, civil joined in and thus making it a civil war. Putin friends is a military dude that still want to invade Ukraina after the civil war.

This is what my understanding is, someone please correct me.

Yeah, it is a joke on xkcd and the joke is based on SQL injection, a type of database attack.

Thanks for a good read, have been thinking of using wave function collapse instead of perlin for my next project and i think this got me over completely.

I just block communities that is to spammy or annoying, the thing with a open source decentralize platform is that you need to drag the sliders yourself to your liking.

Because we all have Dissociative identity disorder with flexing between God Complex and Imposter Syndrome

It's almost a year since the GMTK GameJam 2022, the Jam that started off my first project that would eventually be commercial. I have been doing games for over 20 years, i have more than 200 game projects i have done just a prototype but a new idea always popped up.

I remember i was at a party and i was talking to a random guy about game development, he mention this new engine called Unity and since then i was hooked on this engine it was still in its early days.

Fast forward to the GMTK Gamejam 2022 i had 48h to make a game, and i finally made a game that looked like a game you can play for more than an hour. The feedback i got from it gave me a huge dopamine kick, something i wanted more of and so i decided, this game is the game i am gonna start my game studio with.

I slowly continue the game on Itch where the GameJam was hosted and i started to see growth, for each day i got more and more dopamine from watching the analytics grow, one day it exploded, i had over 500% more players than the previous day, what happened? I searched on Google for my game and found a Youtube video from the Youtuber Olexa, he made a video of my game, this brought in tons of new players and i started to get small donations for the game. I have never been so high on dopamine before.

My development speed of the game is hugly based on how much dopamine i currently have, it's the best motivation i have ever had for a game project and i was riding the flow, i started a Steam page to gain wishlist.

I did not have the same momentum on Steam as i had on Itch, the wishlisting was slow, i decided, i already have a functioning game, let's put the price low for now and put it into early access. At the same time i send a few emails to Youtubers giving them free keys so they could also do some giveaways, the game is only $3 anyway and i like these Youtubers content so i saw it as a way to donate to them. I has a early access release sale at the same time a few of these Youtubers plaid the game, i got a lot more money than i thought i would and so i started the process of starting my own gaming studio so the revenue would go there instead.

There is a few months since a Youtuber plaid my game now, and sales are slow, my review ratio is weird, but i am at a point in the game where developing it is so much fun that i can't start a new project, i am past the point of no return, i cant let my players down.

If you wanna try the you can play the most updated version on Steam, the Demo is quite big if you just want to try it out. But if you do decide to buy it, don't forget to leave a review.

Made with love in Unity ♥
