"Museums in our nation's capital should be places where individuals go to learn ‒ not to be subjected to ideological indoctrination or divisive narratives that distort our shared history," Trump said in a recent executive order about parks and museums.

In Trump's recent order, “Restoring truth and sanity to American history," he complained the Smithsonian has “come under the influence of a divisive, race-centered ideology."

“This shift has promoted narratives that portray American and Western values as inherently harmful and oppressive," he said.

Macron had said that France could recognise a Palestinian state in June, stating that his country supported the legitimate right of Palestinians to a state and to peace.

Yes to independence of the Basque Country! Yes to independence of French Guinea! Stop the neo imperialism of France in west Africa!" Yair replied.

Gaza's civil defence rescue agency said the strike on al-Ahli al-Arabi Baptist Hospital led to "the destruction of the surgery building and the oxygen generation station for the intensive care units".

Eyewitnesses say the military threatened to bomb the hospital just minutes before the strikes, giving those in its compounds only 18 minutes to evacuate.

Due to the rushed expulsion, critically ill patients were evacuated out in the cold without proper care.

At least three patients - including a child being treated for head injuries - died as a result. One woman was sleeping in the hospital overnight while she waited for her husbanded to be treated.

COPENHAGEN, Denmark (AFP) — A Copenhagen court on Friday rejected a lawsuit filed by four humanitarian organizations accusing Denmark of violating international law by exporting weapons to Israel.

The Palestinian human rights association Al-Haq, Amnesty International, Oxfam and ActionAid Denmark said they would appeal the decision to Denmark's Supreme Court.

"As human rights organizations ... if we cannot try this case, then there is no one in Denmark who would be granted a legal interest," Tim Whyte, the secretary general of ActionAid Denmark, told AFP.

Khoudary also reported that two forced evacuation orders were issued on Saturday in Shujayea and Khan Younis.

israeli troops were given orders to raze agricultural land, destroy residential blocks and open fire on anyone who came near them to make way for deadly buffer zones in Gaza, a report by Israeli veterans' group Breaking the Silence (BtS) has revealed.

According to israeli soldiers interviewed for the report, titled "The Perimeter", the army created a perimeter, between 800 and 1500 metres in breadth and 1.5km inside the Gaza Strip, where "large swathes of the land were turned into massive kill zones".

The soldiers said that the borders of such areas were invisible, constantly changing and were not communicated to Palestinians.

Legal mechanism, like one in Syria, could have assisted in investigation and prosecution of lower-level criminal perpetrators in the occupied Palestinian territories who the ICC is unlikely to focus on

A UN Human Rights Council (HRC) resolution that would have established a mechanism to help with the investigation of crimes committed in the occupied Palestinian territories was watered down following backroom pressure from the US, a US official and a source briefed by a European diplomat told Middle East Eye.

The final wording of the resolution, adopted by the council this week, invites the UN General Assembly only “to consider establishing” such a body.

Argentina was able to acquire over twenty Nasher fighter jets from Israel in 1982, the year of the Falklands war, with more Israeli weapons and supplies secretly transferred through Peru.

It also used Israeli-supplied Skyhawk jets to sink four British warships, including the Sir Galahad, which resulted in the deaths of 48 soldiers.

Declassified files now reveal how Israel repeatedly misled the UK government about its military support to Argentina, provoking a diplomatic crisis between both countries.
