你好! I'm doing the same. Are ya'll using a textbook? We're using Integrated Chinese.

I feel like I'm way behind though and barely keeping up with speech. Character memorization, recognition, and writing is way easier. I think its helping improve my handwriting because mine kinda sucks in English.

I'm sticking it through since I am learning for sure but I don't think I've ever spent so much time studying in a uni class before. It was like 5 hours a day last week.

He's gonna match Castro for number of attempted assassinations if he keeps it up.

I think this is where we see how critical or not the ousted employees really were to the overall quality of Disco. This company has the financial guy who started all the drama involved in it.

I worked in retail for a while and had the customer who approached me teach me how to use the key copying machine because nobody else was around. Cool guy. That's how you know your training sucks though.

Language learning when you lack partners to speak with or just as supplemental practice. It's hit and miss like everything else right now, but you can speak at ChatGPT and have it reply in another language, ask it to correct your pronunciation, etc. It's a new voice feature where it talks back to you. I can see it being a primary teaching tool if the accuracy ever reached a consistently reliable threshold.

Kind of the idea they had in Darkest of Days where you go back to the Civil War and other historical time periods with future weaponry to fight time terrorists messing with things.

There's probably a dozen other restrictions you can add onto this because the list never ends, but one that got me was that you can't get paid while traveling outside the country. Every day you're gone, that's a day they slash off your month's pay. People will ofc say if you're so desperate to be on SSI you shouldn't be taking leisure trips, but this applies to people literally just crossing the border to visit family in Canada or Mexico. And they definitely keep track of when and where you're going and how long you were there. So there's an extra element of social isolation if you happen to be from an immigrant family.

They do if the candidate has official write-in status, like the map indicates. If the majority writes in a random celebrity who happens to win, it doesnt count if they didn't go through the state's processes.

Kicked off in a few states, but looks like they have write-in status in North Dakota and maybe others now? So that's neat.
