I remember commenting about people going over the speed limit here on Lemmy, and getting so many downvotes from people who could never explain to me why they thought they deserved to go over the speed limit. Emergencies, with your emergency lights on? By all means! Going over the speed limit because you got up or left late for work? No bueno.
Hi. Who took the regulations away in the first place?
Don't waste your time. They didn't read it, because they want a narrative to peddle.
Larian was cooking while BioWare was microwaving.
Outlook (New) is such garbage. Web app, and doesn’t support plugins. Less functionality over all. Pathetic.
Thank you so much for bringing this to my attention! I recently upgraded a 10 year old device with a Macbook (first time owner!) and was not impressed with how MacOS operates. Cue to me installing things like Swipe, Bartender, etc. I would have kept happily updating this program without your bringing it to my attention, so THANK YOU!
Hello! I highly recommend using the Tale of Two Wastelands mod to mitigate (and maybe even completely get rid of) crashes and instability! I played for well over 100 hours, and maybe had a crash or two. :)
Exactly! I used to work manual labor, and finally found a job that I can actually get through a day without aching or wishing I was dead. Don’t knock on office work, because there are plenty of worse jobs that can be had!
It would not surprise me in the least, but more importantly, if they get breached and they have sloppy mechanisms in place, my license could be fully out there in the wild. May be whatever to some, but I think it’s too risky to trust some company with it that also has contracts with the government itself.
Eh, I’ve only gotten like $20 back max the last three years. They can take as long as they want, I will not be giving any third parties anything that they truly do not need.
But why do you care if someone else is using it or not..? It’s more privacy centric than Google at least.
While I understand both of your points and views, the fact of the matter is that the speed limit is set to whatever it is, whether it be 65 or 70. You are aware of this, and daily commuters are also aware of this. In my eyes, that means it is not a surprise, or shouldn't be, to anyone except travelers. This also means that you should be prepared for that commute at that speed limit. Unless it is an emergency, just follow the speed limit. It's as simple as that.
