Google has fixed two vulnerabilities that, when chained together, could expose the email addresses of YouTube accounts, causing a massive privacy breach for those using the site anonymously.

The flaws were discovered by security researchers Brutecat (brutecat.com) and Nathan (schizo.org), who found that YouTube and Pixel Recorder APIs could be used to obtain user's Google Gaia IDs and convert them into their email addresses.

The ability to convert a YouTube channel into an owner's email address is a significant privacy risk to content creators, whistleblowers, and activists relying on being anonymous online.

You need to go away from corporate media to see it called what it really was.

As well as Amway. Honestly, downtown Grand Rapids has one of the best downtowns in the region. A lot of small independent bars and eateries. I especially recommend The Pyramid Scheme.

"Robinson was a well-known conservative commentator and priest in the U.K. before joining St. Paul’s in September 2024. The church’s website still has him listed as priest-in-charge"

Yes I was not expecting that. Especially with the surprising number of nutjobs on that side of the state.

Glad to see at lest someone is though!

The Anglican Catholic Church has removed a Grand Rapids priest for making an alleged Nazi salute.

Calvin Robinson, priest-in-charge at St. Paul’s Anglican Catholic Church, was defrocked Thursday, Jan. 29, after church leadership learned he’d made the controversial salute to a crowd at the National Pro-Life Summit on Jan. 25 in Washington, D.C.

I was thinking to myself that I need to cancel mine. Then yesterday I got charged $127 for the yearly renewal.

I thought I was SOL but you can cancel and get most of the money back. So it's not too late to cancel and rid yourself of it.

Came here to say the same thing. "Pig" is a good gender neutral term and has universal appeal.

As artificial intelligence (AI) continues to revolutionize industries, the cybersecurity field faces a dual-edged sword of opportunities and threats. StrongDM's latest report, "The State of AI in Cybersecurity," highlights the growing concerns and readiness of cybersecurity professionals to tackle AI-driven challenges. Based on a survey of 600 cybersecurity professionals, the report sheds light on pressing issues around AI regulation, perceived threats, defense confidence, and the future of the cybersecurity workforce.

Key Findings from the Survey:

Regulation Concerns: 76% of cybersecurity professionals believe AI should be "heavily regulated" to prevent misuse, underscoring the need for balance between safety and innovation.

AI-Driven Threats: A significant 87% of respondents expressed concerns about AI-driven cyberattacks, with malware (33%) and data breaches (30%) ranking as top threats.

Preparedness Levels: Only 33% of professionals feel "very confident" in their current defenses, and 65% of companies admit they are not fully prepared for AI-powered attacks.

Workforce Impact: Despite challenges, two-thirds of respondents feel optimistic about AI's potential to enhance, rather than replace, jobs in cybersecurity.
