Where do you find that?

I refuse. (spoilers)

This instance is the the default for all the mobile apps.

Voyager just switched its default to lemm.ee in v2.20.0 last week.

Some soup spoons are indeed oblong like a tablespoon. But because there isn't anything in that etsy photo above to provide context, you might miss that the heads of those spoons are most likely much larger than that of a tablespoon. Sure, they're just as oval-shaped as what OP expects, but they're also just as wide as the round spoon in the OP. Meaning they require just as Steven Tyler of a mouth to successfully misuse as a round soup spoon.

That's one way to do it!

It's there, at the very top. Your instance simply removed it. Click the "view source" button; you can see the URL is just censored.

No, this is Facebook

My go-to is dafont. You can filter your search by personal, commercial, etc.

It turns any TV into a smart TV. Compared to just using the features built into a smart TV, it has a more capable processor, more timely updates with a longer lifetime, and possibly a wider selection of apps. Compared to using something like a game console or PC, it is smaller, more power-efficient, and (if the only feature you care about is streaming) has fewer unnecessary features.

TNG S4E5 "Remember Me"

At the time that I had joined this instance, I believe none of the posts from !30rock@dubvee.org were viewable on this instance. When I subscribed to the community, most posts then became available, but few-to-none of the comments/votes did. Everything since subscribing is entirely in sync. Check it out yourself; when sorting by Old, you see many posts from well before I had joined this instance, but they do not have comments and have just the OP's initial one upvote: https://feddit.org/c/30rock@dubvee.org?dataType=Post&sort=Old

I have noticed similar behaviour with other communities, so I don't think "actions" are just stuck in the "queue" or whatever. Is there anything I can do to get my instance fully in sync with a particular community? Or could this only be remedied by an administrator of one (or both) of the instances?

Inspired by the comments under this post: https://lemmy.world/post/22134290

TNG S2E19 "Manhunt"

I apologize if this is your Nth time seeing this post. Apparently I am having Lemmy problems.

Bonus edit that I had posted a while ago, highlighting the prop bottle used for this stunt.

https://files.catbox.moe/fhekd3.webm

Looks like that bottle has an empty inner chamber so that the actor does not have to actually chug. The liquid from the outer chamber fills into the inner chamber when it is tipped, thus giving the illusion that the bottle is emptying. Then after the camera cuts to Picard and back, that inner wall has been removed, and you see the actor actually drinking the last of the bottle.

Context:

  • PC, Switch, and PlayStation/Xbox (in that order) tend to get updates, new features, fixes, etc. faster than other platforms.
  • Meanwhile, the Android/iOS ports seem to have a rather low priority. Major updates tend to come relatively late, and even multiplayer (introduced in 2018) is still not officially supported on mobile.
  • On the other hand, the PlayStation Vita version was entirely abandoned after only a few months. The addition of multiplayer had necessitated a change of game engine, and the new engine that was chosen did not support the Vita. The latest Vita build is equivalent to a PC build from 2017, meaning it lacks all subsequent new content and QOL improvements, as well as still containing game-breaking bugs.
