If I remembered I'd have an answer. All I know is that I was specifically looking to export a csv and couldn't find it. It was a new computer and they were like "just use 365" instead of installing Microsoft Office like every other computer. I ended up just installing LibreOffice until they got mad at me and installed Microsoft Office.

Microsoft 365 is fucking garbage. I tried using it one time on my work computer and couldn't even export an Excel sheet into any other format besides a PDF and an Excel file. The only two things I never need to export an Excel sheet as. I couldn't even export it as a god damn text file. And the fact that I need an Internet connection makes it so much more finicky. I guess on the plus side when the Internet is down I don't have to do my job until it comes back.

Yeah, my friend that shot himself in the head a couple years back would also like to know.

I wish this wasn't true, but I've been in my fair share of lobbies where shit gets real fucked up real fast. The only solace I get is that they are probably either really lonely in real life, terrified to even talk to women, or self conscious about their masculinity. Or all three.

Low FPS isn't the worst. I've played games on plenty of potatoes. Nothing is better than a buttery smooth FPS, but it's not the end of the world.

A bad team mate happens but it's just the way it is sometimes. Dude could be new to the game. Unless they are straight up throwing I can get over it.

Usually after the first few times, my mom would usually get the picture. It's a little annoying but it's usually pretty brief (unless I was in trouble)

But connection issues? You can fuck right off with that. I can't tell you how many times my Internet just turns off in the middle of a game for no reason besides fuck you. And Internet lag is the fucking worst because, unlike the other options, you literally can't do anything about it. Everything else you at least have some control over. Bad FPS? Lower the settings. Bad teammate? Try your best to carry and make up the difference. Mom calling you? Just don't be rude and say it'll take a minute. Bad Internet? Your ISP is like "lmao fuck you it's just shitty today. Too bad we're the only option in town." I've had some ISPs that will just turn off my Internet for a few days for no reason and I have to call a technician to get it turned back on. They're always like "oh man it was turned off for some reason I don't know what happened."

I'm kinda in the same boat but on the other side. I always try to argue with people about this. It gets me a lot of flak on pro AI posts but that won't stop me. I usually get very aggressive replies and sometimes some fucked up dm's too.

I'm against it because we are already seeing the consequences of this technology and it's only getting worse. By the time laws catch up it's gonna be too late and the damage will be done. For some technologies that's not always the worst. But we already saw how long it took for anyone to do anything about the Internet when it came out, and we are still trying to this day. This shit is growing so fast we will all feel the whiplash. Sites like Facebook are getting absolutely flooded with so much AI that they are becoming almost unusable. And that's before we even get into the shady shit people use AI for like making porn of people they know with the click of a button. I recently read an article about how bad deepfake porn is in South Korea (found the article. https://www.nytimes.com/2024/09/12/world/asia/south-korea-deepfake-videos.html). And in places like the US, where a lot of these companies are based, they are so slow to do anything about a problem it's going to be too late by the time they get to it.

But besides all the awful things happening because of AI, I do have one personal gripe with the whole ordeal. Why are we so quick to replace the things we enjoy with AI? When I get home from work I like to make music and practice pixel art (I'm not very good at either yet). I'd much rather have AI replace my job than my hobbies. I'm down for things that are useful, but too much of this just gives me a bad gut feeling. Like their trying to replace people and not their jobs.

This may be the future. But it sounds like a pretty dystopian future to me. You already can't believe everything you see on the Internet and this will only make it worse.

I wish, but I think they are predicting this. I live in a pretty chill and rural area. Shop lifting has never been an issue here and most people know the employees by name. Within the last couple months they have added a fuck ton of cameras and automatic brakes for all the carts. Went from barely ever having someone on the self checkout to having multiple people always watching with a top view camera on every checkout and two cameras on both sides. If you buy something too big to fit on the checkout area the machine calls an attendant over immediately even if you scanned it. It feels straight up dystopian in there and it makes it so stressful to go there. If it wasn't the only grocery store around me within a 40 mile radius I'd go somewhere else in a heartbeat.

The employees obviously hate it too and think it's just as fucking ridiculous as we all do. Last time I went, this high school girl looked like she was about to lose her shit as she went from checkout to checkout scanning her badge nonstop.

I wish. That'd be sick

Good on them. I hope more countries follow suit. Unlucky, but I can be hopeful. The US would rather implode than do something like this so I'm definitely jealous. They'd rather implode than do anything at all honestly.

Just give me naps. I would be so much more productive if I had an hour long nap everyday. I know this because I've tried it a few times by accident... And a couple times on purpose.

Also that ChatGPT response gives me vibes of "lmao I'm so random." That's honestly most chat bots I've used. They read like something a motivational speaker would say when they came to my school.

The fact that they can even shut down as often as they do is honestly ridiculous. When I don't do my fucking job I get fired.

I say this is the best outcome. Keep the absolute disaster of a debate the biggest thing people think about when they compare the two candidates for as long as possible.
