LOL never thought I'd see my country here, let alone getting owned in such a spectacular way. "before being elevated to sapience by the USSR" absolutely based and true ngl, seethe and cope baltic fascists

awesome, thank you so much! this will really nicely complement the Situationist writings + the book&film. it sounds like it's a bit more accessible in that case, based on your description :)

duly noted, thank you! I'll check out the Situationist writings Nagarjuna pointed out, then the book and lastly the film.

I kind of feel like I've been asking that question myself for a long time now, hopefully I can go deeper with it actually get some answers from myself lol

the texts in the link feel like a treasure trove, thank you! already found some cool stuff there that's made me ponder. thanks for the advice as well!

wandering through the city on mushies sounds kind of scary hahah, did that with a friend once though when I responded better to psychs

what is the best way to approach it? it seems really interesting but I got confused pretty quick reading it. tried to get quick grasp on it with videos but most were LIB shit. I think there was a same-titled movie as well?? if so, is it any good?

I hope that this is the right community to ask this question kitty-cri

completely annihilated mentally, it's either sick leave or psych hospital next week and I don't want the latter since the psych care blows here. it's just that I have no choice anymore, working CS keeps fucking with my mind to the core and I can't heal mentally, no skills so therefore no job prospects and unemployment (benefits? not sure since english isn't my first language) here is below the poverty line. stuck against the wall and no matter how much I act out or tell people I'm fucked, there's no result (not going to get too specific in order not to dox myself)

I suppose I'll pull through like I have been all these years but fuck I'm tired, the mental anguish never gets any easier

that being said, I'm glad for all my comrades who are doing well and hope that for those who are feeling low, that you'll feel better as soon as possible. sincerely

great picks! i hope you don't mind the recs - you might then like the EP named after the same titled In a Beautiful Place Out In the Country. I suppose that if you want a more nostalgic and chill listen, start off with Music has the Right to Children. for weirder (with satanic undertones), try Geogaddi. if you want a happier listen, go for Campfire Headphase (check out Dayvan Cowboy, amazing track but unlike them). their last one, Tomorrow's Harvest is a foreboding warning of what's happening to our climate and environment

my fave electronic duo (my username's a dead ringer)! i rediscovered them at the start of the year and had Geogaddi on repeat for a while. if you're done with their studio albums, check out their mixtape leaks (the legit ones, at leats) - I think that the boc wiki has info on which ones are real and which ones are not
