Or maybe they had an app like Jerboa and when searching they didn't see an existing community so they created one?

Thanks . Tried it out but the widget I Wowz 'Current 2' does not display the barometric reading when I place on home screen.

Only displays two of 4 meausurements on that particular widget.

The measurements I would like displayed on my weather widget are

  1. Barometric Pressure
  2. Relative Humidity
  3. Dew Point
  4. UV Index
  5. Air Quality
  6. Basic measurements like temp, wind speed, etc.
  7. Severe weather alert indicator

Bonus would be precipitation chance percentage. When Ilookeed through WEOWOW options didn't see one where I could customize to get my list of wants on one or twowidgets setup.

I am willing to pay as in one time payment for this weather widget.

That I can see, lol. Plus can't ask my question in that community. I believe its against that communities rules. They direct those to AskAndroid.

I am subscribed to Lemmy.world instance and I still don't have weather@lemmy.world show in search results.

Looks like different Lemmy App is in order.

Dang, When I search using Jerboa app I am not seeing any of the ones in your screenshots 🙁

Am I doing something wrong? I search communities with key word weather and find no communities with over a few to maybe a dozen subscribers.

I want to ask for advice on a good Android weather widget. 'Ask Android' is a community I will place a question on but naturally the best place would be 'Android Apps' which is a ghost town and weather communities are also like ghost towns.

Are there communities out there that I'm not seeing somehow? Please help?!

I don't want to use Reddit but may have to on some of these niche communities due to sparse activity.

KISS launcher

Especially when pairing it with the Panels App

KISS has a small footprint is very fast and really makes my smartphone experience super efficient. I toggle minimalistic on, change search engine to Brave/DuckDuckGo, set my six most used apps as favorites which then show as icons at home screen bottom, assign tags to shortcuts such as favorite websites or tools such as compass, barometer, speed meter, distance calculator, etc.

You can have a tag category show up as a window from the bottom right settings menu.

Kiss also has a very effective search component. Literally the only scrolling needed will be doom scrolling on ones favorite social media app.

Widget functionality could be better but can be supplemented by said Panels app.

I have used hundreds of Android Apps since my first smartphone around 10 years ago and KISS is my most favorite of all (open source or regular) due to how its impacted how I use my phone.

I root for the underated Beatles songs.

For me it is essentially a tie between

I Don't Want to Spoil the Party and I'm Looking Through You

Look at a picture of Richard Simmons in a speedo. That should do it.

I like to plan ahead and after posting my info in the website https://www.death-clock.org/ it scared me into changing my eating habits.

Start at the very top press and hold both fingers and follow through all the way to the bottom.

Basically follow through the motion all way to bottom OR swipe with both to at least mid screen and then flick downward with momentum. Can't see why it wouldn't work for your phone 🤔

OK after more digging they are called Progressive Web Apps (PWA'S)

Now that I found proper term I am getting many results.

Thanks for reply. Do those have an .app extension? Where can they be found ?

Yes it was. The red herring in the room is the Confederate Flag on the General Lee. But watching the show itself it was about helping out your family and your neighbors. Car chases, dealing with the corrupt and inept sherrif department of Hazard County and about GOOD country music.

No curse words and no excessive sexual innuendo like Two and a Half Men did. Nor was their racism although it was an all white main cast and there weren't many minority minor characters Sherriff Little comes to mind as one.

I believe they should still show the Dukes on Me-TV and other outlets but just present at beginning of the show a disclaimer about the Confederate Flag and note the reason for the valid condemnation from those who have personally been adversely affected by its history of being.

The cancel culture of Bud Light is wrong just as it is with the Black Listing of what is essentially a good family television show.

I had read that some countries governments have access to app users shared data despite what it says under app details in Google Play Store.

I have some really good apps that I think I'll probably have to shed. Please advise. Thanks.

Years ago I worked at an electronics store and have seen some very interesting products over the years with some being very useful.

Not sure how to do a poll on here but wanted to see how people matched on the ownership of some of these useful devices .

Have you ever owned a My (answers)

-PDA? Yes, I had a Palm IIIe

-DVD-Recorder? Yes. Successor to VCR sure didn't last long... 😖

-WebTV? No. Interactive TV in the days of dial-up. 🙂

-3D Television? No

-Raspberry PI? No but I want to.

-Internet Radio Player? No This would be fun especially if it also had am/FM tuner

Can anyone recommend a note or any other productivity app which makes use of the Stylus? I looked on FDroid but didn't do a deep dive. I have a passive stylus and a Moto.
